Excellent, one of the restaurants in York i am not apprehensive of taking visitors to. Bar does syrup in house, pasta is in house and the menu changes seasonally. Staff is attentive.
My fiancé and I have been long-time patrons of Tutoni's, which is her absolute favorite restaurant. We have always loved the atmosphere and the high quality of the food and service. However, our last two visits have been severely hampered by issues stemming from the bar area, specifically when a bartender named Taylor is working.
On our recent visit, the service we received at the bar was markedly different and unacceptable compared to our past experiences.
Inconsistent Drink Service: We were told they could not prepare specific drinks—ones we have successfully ordered at Tutoni's before, and ones we observed being made for other patrons shortly after. We were consistently ignored by the staff while sitting at the bar, making it very difficult to place an order or receive refills. This happened both of the most recent times we were at the bar. The first time, I figured we might have just been imagining it, or they were really swamped, but I am fairly confident now that the poor service we receive is intentional, since it has happened twice with the same person.
Concerning Food Quality Issue: Our bread service, which previously always came out warm and lightly toasted, was served cold and untoasted, and only after I asked for it explicitly. More disturbingly, the oil and vinegar had a clear, aqueous second layer, suggesting the plate was wet or otherwise contaminated. This was highly unsettling and made us hesitant to continue eating it.
We understand that everyone can have an off night, but the combination of poor, potentially retaliatory, service and the concerning lapse in food presentation quality suggests a systemic issue that needs to be addressed. We truly want to continue supporting Tutoni's, but unless we can be assured of consistent, professional service, we can't continue to recommend them to others in good conscience, knowing they might have a similarly unpleasant experience.

My husband and I ordered the Chef’s Table for dinner and loved absolutely every dish and wine pairing. The sommelier was in the restaurant the evening we went, and the server was so passionate and knowledgeable about every wine and dish pairing. We loved every minute of our experience!

Wonderful food and service - with great attention to detail. Both the hostess and server were attentive and gave great recommendations, with even a surprise for our special event. Recommend reserving a table in advance to make everything seamless. The best quality and fresh Italian food in York by far

What a gem! We walked in on a quiet weeknight and immediately felt comfortable with the relaxing ambiance of Mediterranean music and aromas. Upstairs, small private tables allow more intimate conversations over an impressive wine list and wonderful seasonal menu supported by local farming partners. The mussels appetizer brilliantly exceeded expectations with a savory sauce and our venison main course was perfectly prepared and artfully presented with delicious veggies. Ashlee was fantastic and we highly recommend this restaurant! We look forward to visiting Tutoni's again soon!

Great food and service! Highly recommended!
Overall a great evening of food and service. We went with the 5 course chef selection and wine pairing. Gazpacho and swordfish were well done but the kitchen fell short on the lollipop veal chops. Grossly undercooked. The pasta with chorizo and chicken was fantastic and the desert was quite the treat overall a good experience.

2 of our daughters took their mama here to celebrate her birthday (of course, I got to tag along! 😁)! Sat outside. Nice vibe with live music from across the way and the food was delish!

I was invited by a vendor to have dinner at Tutoni’s Restaurant in downtown York. I was looking forward to it as I have not found very many restaurants that have lived up to their ratings. While the menu was impressive this one did not meet expectations either.
Upon entering restaurant was dimly lit and where we sat seemed very tight quarters. Restaurant was quiet and server was attentive to our needs of course we are the only ones they are so what else would they have done?
As a guest, I was treated to multiple appetizers and first time having a charcuterie board. Not sure what the big deal is about this meat and cheese tray, I just give me a slice of Colby jack or pepper jack and I’ll be fine. I did try the fried zucchini but not really a big fan.
I had the rainbow trout with mushrooms and quinoa. Not too bad and the portion size was good as a dinner item. Others in the dinner party expressed that their dinner was not as good as they expected. Spaghetti and meatballs another had a pasta dinner that they only ate half of it.
I’m starting to see a common theme in York as it relates to restaurants and their ratings. Doesn’t seem like too many people have gotten out of town and experienced a true 4.6 or higher rated restaurant.
Got a cheesecake dessert to go. Topping was some type of a blackberry jelly. Who puts jelly on cheesecake especially a fruit with seeds that just stop you in mid-tracks to spit out.
Once and done for me on this one .

Beautiful place downtown York. Excellent Italian dishes and cocktails. If you are upstairs or in the King George Speak Easy make sure to get a cocktail from Ashley. She is an incredible mixologist and provides great service. Have never had a sub par experience hear and will continue to come back!
