My wife and I decided to try this place for our20 year anniversary. That was a huge mistake. The steak came out nearly well done after I ordered medium. The fish my wife ordered was blackened, and when we asked for it to be remade, it came out blackened again. This was after she asked the server if it was supposed to be blackened. If it was in the description, we would have let it go. The manager said he would remove the dish from the bill. When we paid, the bill was less than we thought, so we still tipped about 30% on the bill even though the service wasn't great. We found out after I signed for a $116 dollar bill plus a $30 tip equaling about $146 dollars that they charged my card $176 dollars. Apparently, they made the mistake of giving us the wrong bill, never removed the dish line they said they would, and charged more to my card than I signed for. If they need the money so bad, that's fine, but I would have thought it they made the mistake. They eat the difference. What a joke. That's just the big issue. There were definitely a host of smaller ones.In response to the reply by the owner. Grill marks would have been fine. Blackened or burnt not fine. I believe we know the difference.

Drinks fantastic. Apps meh... Dinner meh. Definitely not what I thought it would be. Service was fantastic, the best. Atmosphere fantastic. The food was a disappointment. Don't have photos of everything sorry was enjoying the company.... But what do i know. The parking lot was full 👍

Joseph is probably the best bartender in York at least, if not the entire North East. The drinks he makes up are incredible. He makes many of his own ingredients for them also.
My wife and I go in for a drink and laughs at the bar whenever we can.
When we’ve got more time to spare we eat dinner and we’ve never had a bad dish. The daily specials are always amazing but so is their normal menu.
Our picky daughter can always find something she’ll like. My wife has a gluten allergy and they have many options for her and she’s never had any reactions to anything.
The waitstaff and managers are all nice, knowledgeable, and attentive.
I can’t say enough good things about this place and I recommend it to all of my friends all the time.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Victors this evening. Server Elias took care of my wife’s gluten allergy (celiac) flawlessly. He recommended the special and it was outstanding. From the drinks to the dessert was flawless. We’ll be back, hopefully soon.

When you pair grilled salmon with parmesan risotto and then asked for the salmon to be "medium rare" and it comes out .... PERFECT !! What else can you say !! Guess I have another Victor's FAVORITE !! My wife had the Shrimp & Clams in white wine for the first time - she too loved it. Great service at the bar as usual from Justin & Matt.

My wife and I have been eating our special dinners at Victor's for several years now. We have generally really enjoyed our meals there. We both feel that their quality has begun to decline recently. Recently we received undercooked food and had difficulty finding items on the seasonal menu to eat. We are both fairly brave eaters but when every dish is made with unusual items such as bone marrow the menu can be disappointing. In addition it seems that they have changed some recipes as even basic items aren't tasting as they used to taste. I'm not saying we will never go there again but we will definitely look over the menu carefully before going.

challenging review - I chose Victors as a date night place for my wife and I - BAD CHOICE for us at least...we are generally early eaters and the reservations only allowed for bar or hightop seating...the bar is an awful spot if you want to converse with whoever you're with - it was terrible for THAT PURPOSE. the food was very good and the service was fine...so as a date night location in the future - not going to happen...but if you like eating later and you can eat in the dining room - that looked decent.
