Feedback on Recent Wendy’s Experience

I am writing to share my recent experience at Wendy’s, which left me quite frustrated and disappointed.

Extended Wait Time

My family and I arrived at the drive-thru at 5:56pm, hoping for a quick meal for our five young children and infant. Unfortunately, we did not receive our food until 6:53pm—nearly a full hour later. The delay was especially challenging given the ages of our children.

Ordering Issues

After placing our order through the Wendy’s app and selecting the drive-thru option, we were informed that we *had* to use the drive-thru to receive our order. Even when we attempted to go inside to speed things up, the staff required us to remain in the drive-thru line due to the app selection. If we hadn’t already paid for our food, we likely would’ve left.

Missing Items and Unhelpful Service

Once we finally received our order, we discovered several items were missing. This meant we had to go inside anyway to resolve the issue—a frustrating step after such a long wait. When I explained the situation to the staff member at the counter (the same person who had initially required us to use the drive-thru), he seemed unconcerned and made no effort to correct or remedy the situation.

Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. We were seeking a quick and easy meal for our family, but unfortunately faced significant delays, inflexible app policies, mistakes with our order, and a lack of genuine customer service.

Usually the service at this Wendy’s is pretty fast, but the speed of the service today was ridiculous and unacceptable. I’m not sure what kind of issues were going on, but it seemed absolutely no one here knew what to do to fix it so it could at least be semi-productive. We arrived at 4:28 and we didn’t actually leave the parking lot until 5:15. For some reason they couldn’t take our order at the speaker and they were taking and making one order at a time at the window. We waited for 45 minutes in the drive thru just for them to forget a fry. When I went in to report the issue, I was ignored, along with many other people. Even the manager seemed to not care how many people were there. I didn’t even get the fry! Not to mention the workers could not multitask whatsoever. We will not be back here. I should not be waiting longer for fast food than I would at a sit-down restaurant.

My son went through the drive thru and personnel was disrespectful, ordered a baconator and this is what I got when its suppose to look like the third picture, only 3 little pieces and the meat is supposed to be fresh and it looks like it was there for hours! They made a mistake on my sons sandwhich, he went nicely inside and they was giving him attitude! I am sorry but if you not a people person please dont work at these places!

Poorly ran Wendy's franchise. Unorganized crew. The amount of times I've received incorrect orders and witness inappropriate behaviors going on from the drive thru is mind blowing.

Disgusting. My family went in to try the new frosty flavors. We waited 20 minutes just to have them take our order when we were the only ones in there to order. After ordering, we waited another 20 minutes to be told they didn't have frostys because they ran out. While there, we realized how disgusting and dirty the kitchen and eating area was. The TV that is supposed to display the orders being prepped looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months (greese was coating the screen), the floor was sticky, and every table was covered in trash. The other people in there were all there way before us and some even said they were there because their order was incorrect and they were waiting for them to make it right. Will not go back to this location ever again.

Not sure if the drive threw speaker doesn't work correctly or what but we never end up getting everything we order, when we order via drive threw speaker. Thankfully we aren't charged for what we dont have but this has been a repeating event. Hope they can fix whatever the issue is so when we order it's all of our order and not just partial.

This Wendy’s is quick at making your food and will likely never make you wait. They do sometimes mess up my order, but they will remake it if I point it out.
