I’m no fan of sushi, so I can’t speak to that, but I LOVE hot-and-sour soup. I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Will definitely be back.
I used to buy food from here frequently 2 years ago and today I decided to order from here again, I love the food but I have to say I’m disappointed with the California roll before they used to give you a bigger portion now is only 6 little pieces and it didn’t look like they had sizes when I ordered online.
We are traveling from out of the area for three days and went here two of those three. The staff is great and I have never experienced such kindness in a place of business. We truly felt special and they have earned customers for life. Every time we are in York we are coming here. Just to mention it, their food was of the same quality as their service. Well prepared and presented. This is worth a detour just to be here.
