We stopped in for our annual “leaving the island lunch,” and Lone Oak was exactly what it always is — a sharp location, well run.
I went straight for the Honey Garlic Fried Chicken Bowl, the same one that nearly had me inventing excuses last year just to drive back to the island. My wife followed my lead and ordered it too. The kids stuck with the classic kids’ burger and fries and had zero complaints.
