This was once one of my favourite restaurants we order from Skip the dishes at least once a week the last couple of times it definitely has changed, but we thought they might’ve been just having a bad night we ordered last night. It came to $80. I ordered the bruschetta which usually is my favourite item and it seemed like they changed the spices not nearly as much garlic, and there seem to be cumin in it for some reason Very disappointing My husband’s spaghetti and meatballs had barely any sauce, and my fettuccine Tasted like the pasta was quite old definitely not fresh overall it was a very disappointing experience. I’m thinking they may have gotten a new chef or change their ingredients because of the extra costs etc, It’s so disappointing how the quality of the food has gone down in the past year

If you have a food allergy or specific food need (e.g halal) do not order this restaurant over an app. They will ignore your preferences, most likely because the kitchen is understaffed, and work as fast as possible. If you dine in the staff are attentive and very nice and will tell the kitchen your allergy.
This restaurant is super variable. I have eaten here many times and think it's a toss up between getting something that you love and something you regret spending the money for. I don't recommend coming here if you are limited on opportunities to eat in PEI.

My gnocchi sauce was too sweet. It shouldn’t be that way. My friend’s fettuccine was super dry and it should be unacceptable to serve that kind of food.
Charged us for 3 glasses of wine, though we only have 2. Our fault too and we should have checked the price.
Affogato didn’t have enough espresso.
Pistachio cheesecake was decorated with syrup on top like this? Wow. I’m not used to this poor presentation.

categorically not satisfied with the kitchen. I ordered 2 pizzas, they were not tasty, even disgusting in taste, I can say so boldly that I lived in Italy for a long time and the taste of pizza is familiar to me, unfortunately, what was brought to me is difficult to compare with pizza, it just tastes very disgusting. I advise you to change it the menu, because you should very carefully monitor what you serve to your customers. I just tried it. I definitely do not recommend it!!!!

I had high expectations, so perhaps this review isn't fair, but my expectations were not met.
I ordered the chicken parm, and what I thought was mozzarella sticks, but it just turned out to be a single piece of breaded mozzarella cheese.
The parm was dry and flavourless. Food without taste. The portion size is great, but it's the flavour experience that matters. This just didn't have it.
That mozzarella chunk is just bizarre. Why would they have this on the menu? Just offer traditional mozzarella sticks, please.
The atmosphere also doesn't work for me, unfortunately. Much too open, and there are too many seats right in front of windows.
The staff is friendly enough, but I won't go back here. Sorry.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Abbiocco. Nick went above and beyond with the service he provided to us and our pizza and drinks were absolutely fabulous!! We would highly recommend dropping in for great food and service!!

We are here right now. Best lunch, cocktails, food, service, experience we have had in the dozens of restaurants we've been to in Charlottetown. If you haven't come here, do it. Sit at the bar, drink, laugh, eat a lot. It's the best.
