Amazing! Working in the area stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. Plenty of food, plenty of flavour and the chili sauce for the burrito was amazing. Will be back for sure!

I recently discovered Azteca, and tried their burrito combo with chorizo first. I was very very impressed. The price for the quality of food is incredible. The beans, rice, and burrito were all so flavorful in their own distinct way and I was immediately impressed with how enjoyable the meal was.
I came back again in the same week with my girlfriend to show her this great little gem of a restaurant. She had the Chilaquiles with chorizo, and I had the enchiladas combo. Again, I was so impressed with the amount of spice and flavor packed into every bite. I plan on trying every item on the menu eventually.
One warning, if you are sensitive to cilantro like I am, you might find some aspects hard to enjoy as cilantro is featured in Pico de Gallo of course, and I suspect it was integral to the green sauce on the enchiladas. Regardless of my total distaste for cilantro, I found the great flavors of the enchiladas completely overpowered the cilantro and the entire meal was still spectacular. I enjoyed it tremendously.
The owners are so sweet and took great care on both visits. This smaller restaurant lets them intimately serve every table and it's apparent that they care deeply about their food and your experience.
I will return to Azteca many times as it takes a palace among my favorite spots.

So lucky to have talked to a young Mexican woman who told me about Azteca yesterday. Assured me it was traditional. It’s a cute, warm space redolent with mouthwatering smells.
Everything was fresh, delicious and not Americanized.
They were busy, and the lovely woman serving us, still made sure to check with us multiple times.
The prices are more than fair for the quality and portions!

Wow! Charlottetown has waited a long time for truely authentic Mexican food and Azteca Restaurant is the real deal! Fantastic food, friendly staff and real ingredients make for an excellent place, you will not be disappointed.
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. It is authentic and delicious. I am vegetarian and they have lots of yummy options! The burritos have delicious pickled (I think) veggies in them which is nothing like I have had before! I highly recommend this restaurant ?

Was skeptical about this place from the outside, but hot damn do they have some amazing food. This isn't your average Canadian Mexican chain that does burritos and quesadillas. This is proper Mexican food and it is delicious.
I highly recommend giving this place a try if you enjoy Mexican or are looking to try it. Don't worry about it being too spicy, there are choices for everyone and they have two very tasty salsas (hit sauce) that you can add to your food. One is about as hot as a medium salsa from thee grocery store. The other one about 10 times that. As I said, neither are just pure heat, they actually taste good.
The cook told us the food's style is from Mexico City. I haven't been so I cannot speak to the authenticity, but it was much better than any Mexican food I have had before.
