BeaverTails Charlottetown

This was probably the worst beavertail I have ever ate, 29% ate. I got the Killaloe Sunrise. didn’t take a picture, but it was complete crust, hard, and oily. Not on brand for the franchise. As a previous franchise owner, I was saddened that this is what some first time customers might think is how this should be served. My husband’s BT was the same, he got the poutine tail, but even the gravy didn’t soften it.
Disappointed. :(

It was such a fun and new experience trying BeaverTails! Nothing beats enjoying a warm, freshly made treat while looking out at the waterfront and all the boats. We went for the chocolate and peanut butter BeaverTail topped with Reese’s Pieces, and it was absolutely amazing—crispy, warm, and sweet in the best way, without feeling too heavy.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Charlottetown — it’s the perfect spot to treat yourself after exploring the city!

We were waiting for 20 minutes just for a single beaver tail, although there was no people ahead, and then another 20 minutes for a traditional poutine. The stuff was too slow and inhospitable.

I've had many Beavertails across Canada over the last 20 years, and this location is by far the best. They nailed the cooking of the beavertail and were very generous with the toppings. It was so good, I went back for another one the next day!

The staff ignored my husband for several minutes while the supervisor explained how to do things on the cash register. They knew he was there but ignored him. After finally ordering, the cook was extremely slow. It took him at least five minutes to make one beaver tail before finally getting my husband’s hotdog cooking. They did not give out numbers, take names or advise how long the wait would be. When I went in a few minutes later for ice cream, I was also ignored for a good two minutes even though no one actually appeared to be working. Three staff members looked at me and did not approach me. When the staff finally offered to help, she had no idea what was in the various ice cream flavours.
Sorry, very long review but I had to share the worst customer service experience I’ve had in my 60 years as a consumer.

I have never had a Beavertail before today and they were so good! Fried dough with your choice of flavorful goop! 😄 we got one that was peanut butter and chocolate and then another with caramel. Both were out of this world delicious!

Kinda odd for a dessert place to close before dessert time, and they were out of a lot of products/ingredients, but beaver tails are always delicious!

The food is delicious so i came back for more but there is a sign on the door that says "gone for a 30 minute break, be back in 30 minutes!" I decided to wait and it's been over 50 minutes. This is disappointing, and if there is only going to be one staff member inside, they should be making it their priority to get the store back open in time.

Very friendly service, even after a long day of being swamped with cruise guests.We were surprised to find their poutine was that good. Try the Poutail too, it was great!
