Place is so good , relaxed and kids friendly. We live on the Island for 9 years and it is the best fish&chips we ever had! Love the spot !
Excellent food and service. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very good value for money.
Not my cup of tea
Best gluten free fish & chips … as well as onion rings!
Fish was delicious and large portions!!
We flew over from BC to tour the Atlantic provinces. We rented a car and started our adventure. I'm celiac, that being said, it is so challenging to find restaurants that have no traces of cross-contamination, let alone gluten-free options.
Brits Fish and Chips delivered in every way possible! The batter on the fish was perfect as were the chunky chips!
I'll be making the trip on my bike eventually and I'll be stopping there again,
Overall great place for fish n chips or other traditional Canadian foods
Better than the fish and chips we’ve gotten in london. I was so craving for a good fish and chips here in the maritimes, and this place definitely checked all the boxes, large serving, served hot and fresh, the batter was just the right amount. It wasn’t greasy, and the haddock and cod they used was meaty and fresh.
I enjoyed the chips and the tartar sauce was just the right blend. Would definitely eat here again when we come back to charlotte town.
Awesome little place! Nice waiter. The burger love burger was sooooo good! Just simple and delicious and not all soggy like others. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I stopped in to Brits with a group of friends after a hockey game on Saturday. There was one man working front & back. A few other tables came in as well as a Skip the Dishes pick up. He was amazing! Everything ran smoothly, our food came out perfect and as ordered, and he was very friendly. I have a gluten allergy and had zero issues! Would highly recommend Brits! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was scared going here considering every restaurant within the radius has its fair share of poor reviews but I could not have had a better experience, I barely had to leave the Holman grand to find this wonderful spot , It was empty in side which made me think It would be a long wait but I ordered take out and a double gin tonic and waited , it was out before I finished my drink and it was some of the best fish I've had ( pro fry cook over here ) and the poutine is immaculate, best on these kind folks and ignore the poor reviews, I have NEVER received customer service so enthusiastic yet to the point, all around a great experience and worth stopping by many times!
The tartar sauce is to die for.

Super friendly fish and chips shop. I did take away. The batter was amazingly crispy and the haddock was the size of my forearm!

Been here a few times, first time a little over a year ago, and again today, food was very good both times, staff is always polite. Do be warned it’s quite large portions, but hey, it’s dang good value for what you pay.
Parking: If your here midday in the high season you’ll definitely have trouble finding close parking, but being here a bit past that it was very easy to find parking right across the street
