Food quality really dropped since new owners took over. Overpriced. Don't bother.

We came here because my sister has celiacs and desperately wanted some fish and chips while we were in PEI. She was thrilled, and enjoyed her food. I would say it was good but nothing outstanding about it.Service was good and restaurant was clean.

If you are a lover of pub food, I highly recommend coming here. The portions are generous, food tasty, atmosphere comfortable (open room with tables, booths and four tvs), and the staff wonderful. And to boot, I think the bathroom sign is hilarious! I am a vegetarian and the garden salad and sweet potato fries are ?. Give this place a try the next time you are close by for a meal and a drink.

My sister and I were in town for the Victorian Christmas festival and went for fish 'n' chips. Delicious, crispy fish with VERY generous portions. Had a great meal!

The fish is always exceptionally good. Have been to the restaurant several times. While the food quality remains excellent the recent price increase is pretty high. Dishes that used to be 18-20$ each are now $30 and that is a big leap in prices. Have always gone here with family, but when your food bill goes from $100 to well over $150 for the same portions and order then it’s high. I understand rising food costs, but a 50% bump in prices seems too much.

Sorry to say but I did not have a good experience here. I have celiac so was excited about the GF options. I had GF halibut and chips for take out. It was so expensive, about $35 for one piece. Got take out as was staying about 5 minutes away. When I opened it was not hot, and was soggy like it had been reheated. Should have taken it back but didn’t want a complaint to spoil my evening. But very disappointed Also I didn’t leave a tip as I was shocked at the price and it was take out.

THE VINTAGE POET

I had the seafood crowder and cheese cake both were very good. The chowder comes with garlic toast and it's only a small half a peice of toast and I think they should give a full price if possible overall very good.
