we tried the OG bokit today and can't stop raving about the flavors. I don't know how we didn't go here sooner. we'll be regulars from now on!
Sur les recommandations d'une amie nous nous y sommes arrêtés lors de notre voyage à l'IPÉ. La nourriture est tout simplement ex-ce-llente! Le bokit au homard est à tomber 😋 et le propriétaire super
My partner and I ate here for the first time today, and I am so mad we never went sooner! He had the OG sandwich and I had the chicken sandwich. Both were so amazing, flavourful and very filling!

Datcha offers authentic French Caribbean cuisine, providing a memorable experience for anyone interested in the culture. Their dishes, including the chicken Datcha bowl and vegetarian Datcha bowl, are fresh, light, and hearty, bursting with amazing spice and flavor. The OG Bokit is beautifully seasoned Caribbean beef with a creamy cumin sauce that packs just the right amount of heat on a crispy fried dough bun, making it one of the favorite bites in Charlottetown. The handmade bread is a delight, and the staff, particularly Val, are kind, warm, and welcoming, enhancing the dining experience. Visitors have enjoyed trying the Bokit chicken sandwich, which is juicy and full of flavor, with perfectly crispy outside and soft inside bread. The owner is very sweet, and the menu is simple and well-executed, focusing on quality rather than quantity. The food is so tasty that diners often feel euphoric after just a few bites, with many discussing plans to return even before finishing their meal. Datcha feels like a little piece of Caribbean heritage, serving comforting, homemade food that evokes cherished memories. It is highly recommended for anyone seeking delicious, heartfelt cuisine and a genuine cultural experience.
