Summer or winter, this is always a stop when I’m in Charlottetown. Every sandwich option is great. I like spicy and medium works for me. The meat is so tender and perfectly cooked, the spice wakes up the mouth, and the outer crust of the bread adds a pop to the experience.
First time eating at Datcha, and it definitely won’t be my last! My fiancé and I both had the chicken bokit (medium spice) and a side of sweet potato fries, and it was delicious! The sauce for the fries was so tasteful and so was the bokit.

Holy smokes! Great food - simple but electrifying Caribbean flavours. Plantain, rice, beans, and chicken were perfect. My direction on spice level to “make me regret it” was not ignored, but nor did I regret it. My new go-to in Founders.

This place is now my go to comfort meal for the winter! It is great for a quick lunch if you’re craving a delicious spicy and savoury sandwich/Bokit! Always served hot and stuffed full of meat (no skimping) as well as exceptionally saucy (never dry) and giving a flavourful explosion in each bite!!! I highly recommend the OG Beef Bokit, it’s my favourite 🫶

It was amazing, great flavour, spice level was on point, steak was tender and not chewy. Sauce was fantastic.
Fries were the best sweet potato fries ever and the dipping sauce was very special.
Cannot wait to try the chicken version next time I’m in Charlottetown.

Tried the Bokit chicken sandwich at Datcha, absolutely delicious! The chicken was juicy and full of flavor, and the bread was perfectly crispy outside and soft inside. The staff were super friendly, and I even had a fun chat with them about Telugu movies. A must-try spot when you’re in Charlottetown!
