I got the poutine based on other reviews, and unfortunately it was not great. The cheese had a weird texture and didn’t taste like much of anything. The gravy was lacking flavour also. The inside of the restaurant was uncomfortably hot and was giving cafeteria. Despite all that, I would return to try something different because the menu looks promising. The cashier recommended the pizzas so maybe try those.

Food was delicious! Cauliflower butter masala, Cajun cauliflower (both vegan) and traditional penne florentine was great. Definitely stop in

We had lunch at Gaia’s Urban Eatery today and unfortunately were quite disappointed.
• The Southwestern Cobb Salad arrived without any dressing and we had to ask for it.
• The Gaia’s Ramen was just average.
• We ordered two Veggie Stir Frys for our kids (7 and 10), but they came out extremely spicy. The kids couldn’t eat them, and when we asked, we were told it was because of the stock sauce. This really shouldn’t have been the case for a simple veggie stir fry. They ended up replacing it with veggie hotdogs, which wasn’t what we were aiming for.

Overall, we left feeling deceived and disappointed, since we had really been looking forward to a nice vegan lunch together.

Fabulous food in PEI. This place does vegetarian and vegan food. I had the bibimbap and my partner had the ramen. The food was excellent and the price was good. The restaurant is bright and airy.

Food was tasteless and pasta was watery. Many items in the menu were not available which leads us to believe that they left out some of the ingredients that were necessary. Serving staff was friendly. Hopefully this was just an isolated situation as the atmosphere seemed nice.

Went here three times during our four day stay in PEI. Very delicious vegan food. The loaded vegan burger is one of the best vegan burger I’ve had (very close to a real burger, even the cheese) and the poutine with pulled bbq mushroom was just incredible! It filled the craving I had for poutine for a long time. Everything is also reasonably priced. Jinal served us each time. She was very friendly and we had a nice chat on our last day. Would definitely come back to Gaia’s again when we return to Charlottetown!

This became our go to place as a vegan family of 7 visiting the island. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and the food was mostly great and always fresh. We’ll be back again next time we’re in PEI for sure!

This is among the VERY best vegan food we have ever eaten! The pulled bbq oyster mushroom sandwich and the tofu Rueben had completely different taste profiles but were equally delicious!

We got the vegan poutine and the BBQ Mushroom sandwhiches. Also the tropical smoothies.

The bbq sandwhiches were good. It would’ve been nice if they had some coleslaw in them instead of only the bbq mushrooms and the bun. It said it came with a house slaw on the menu but when we picked up our burgers we did not see any slaw on ours. Maybe they forgot it? Anyways we didn’t want to go back and we were very hungry. Also, you have to pay $5 extra for a side which doesn’t make sense. The sides should be included.

The poutine was good but on the salty side. Loved the vegan cheese.

The smoothies were delicious and were the best part of the meal.

There were several things we wanted to order from the menu like the cabbage rolls and the rainbow rolls and they said they were not available, so that was disappointing.

I wish there was an area to sit outside in front of the restaurant or even a bench out front where we could sit to eat with our dog.

Vegan visiting from the West Coast, drove over from the other side of the island to try this place, did take out on a flaming veggie sandwich and it was so good I came back for another 3 days later!

I don't typically eat vegan, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I really liked my Mexican bowl! It was very filling. The portion size on my wife's falafel bowl was a bit smaller, but everything tasted pretty good. Worth trying! Nice staff as well.
