The ambiance and service were great! The food was okay, there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of flavor, but it was still good. The best part was the slices of cake… so delicious!

Best takeout I've had all year and I eat a lot to take it out.

If you have never had Korean food, this might be ok. But if you know what Korean food is supposed to taste like, don't come here. The flavors were disappointing and the portions were small for the price. I came away hungry and had to get more food elsewhere. Our waitress was very nice, though.

An excellent place for Korean food! The restaurant seems to be family run, with superbly fresh ingredients expertly cooked. We loved the seafood pancake and the crisp fried chicken. Other excellent choices Jeyuk (spicy pork with noodles) and the Dolsot Bibimbap. Service was friendly and excellent.

Grabbed some food with family. Service was amazing, very friendly staff and very accommodating to any requests we made! ⭐
Food was average for some, crispy chicken wings were actually good. We may come back to try different dishes. ✌🏽

Soulful Korean food made with a motherly love of K-cuisine.

Korean Fried Chicken with the sweet and spicy sauce was my familiy's favorite. Bulgogi & japchae noodles were delicious too.

Can't wait to go back soon to try more dishes.

Haru K-BBQ was packed on a Sunday evening, though space was available on the patio. Inside is tastefully decorated and clean, with numerous plants adorning the windowsill and cute tchotchkes throughout. Smooth Korean contemporary music is always heard.

We ordered numerous dishes to share for three people, and they were all excellent.

Japchae: the noodles were springy, chewy, and perfectly seasoned. The slightly crunchy cabbage and carrot added a nice contrast, and the beef was very flavorful.

Kimchi Jeon: the pancake was cooked to the perfect texture; the middle was gooey while the edges and sides had a good crunch. The freshness of the kimchi really came out well, and had a coying spiciness.

Miyeok Soup: the soup was seasoned very well, and the beef and seaweed flavor was very present. The seaweed had a great texture, and the beef really hit the spot.

Korean Fried Chicken: we got the dark meat option, which came as 5 pieces, and opted to not have sauce. The chicken was very flavorful and juicy. We also separately ordered a side of pickled radish, which was great.

However, the Korean fried chicken I’m used to eating has a pleasantly hard and extremely crispy crust, which this did not (it was more flaky and light). It’s still an excellent piece of fried chicken, but those specifically craving Korean fried chicken may find themselves disappointed.

Total after tax and tip was $72. All in all, highly recommended, and possibly the best restaurant in Charlottetown.

Haru is our go-to spot whenever I’m craving Korean food. Their fried chicken is always a hit, never disappoints. I ordered the japchae while the hubs had the yuzu salad. It was also our first time trying the Korean Army Soup, and it turned out surprisingly good. For us, it had just the right level of spiciness. We actually dug in right away before taking a photo, so it doesn’t look the most appetizing lol, but it was perfect, especially now that the colder weather is just around the corner. Shoutout to Tobi, great service as always! Also, we had another server, I didn't get her name 😭 but she was very sweet!! We’ll definitely be back, as always.
