Had a fantastic experience at Hunter’s Ale House last night! It was my first visit, but I can't wait to come back. My waitress was incredibly attentive and sweet, checking in frequently to ensure everything was to my liking. The manager (possibly the owner?) also went above and beyond, stopping by the table multiple times to chat and show excellent customer care. The smash burger was absolutely delicious - a standout dish that sealed the deal. I will definitely be back!

Been a patron for 20+ years and after the inedible food, inattentive service seemingly to only our table and being hung up on by the manager when we had the audacity to call and let them know very respectfully that the service and food weren’t up to the usual standard. Incredibly disappointed and i’m not the type to leave a poor review. I understand we all have off nights but to be hung up on when we try to explain the situation to management is beyond unprofessional. You lost multiple customers today.

We had a fantastic lunch at Hunter’s Ale. Pulled Pork Sammy, Fish n Chips were both great.

It's always our first stop when arriving in Charlottetown. It was originally suggested to us by a security guard in the parking lot (thank you so much!) The staff is so friendly, and the food is amazing! Highly recommend anything from the menu, but especially the pulled pork Sammy or the fish and chips along with a local beer!

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, like the PEI burger, it is very good!

Parking: There are some parking spots on the street with a parking meter (limited time), but the paid parking lots are all within 10-15 min walking distance. They are cheap, have plenty of space, located in the centre, great way to leave the car there and then discover the town on foot.

I ordered the all-you-can-eat ribs, which is the Thursday night special, and it came with a large amount of mashed potatoes and some other vegetables. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere.

I appreciated the friendly greeting at the door (possibly the manager) when I arrived, and my server provided excellent service.

Well done guys!

Fabulous late night spot in Charlottetown. Kitchen is open until 1:30 am. Enjoyed our first meal on the island here. This is where everyone was at 1:30 in the morning!

We last visited Hunters in Sept 2021 and in my opinion it has gone down hill. The background music is way too loud and anyone trying to carry on a conversation has to speak loudly making it even more loud.

We had order the 1.5 lb mussels to share as an appetizer, these were the smallest mussels I have ever seen. One would have thought they would have a minimal harvesting size. They lacked any flavor and garlic was non existent. Not something I would order again at this location.

The service was very good.
