Atmosphere: a cute trendy place downtown, but overall the attitude of the staff was a major let down. Sitting by the til, I overheard multiple staff members complaining about various customers and responding curtly and irritated when customers were asking questions about products at the til.
As someone who works in a customer service field, I recognize people can be irritating, but you don't complain about customers in front of other customers. Majority of the staff members were giving highschool mean girl energy, which is a major turn off.
Service: was seated promptly, food and drink delivery were completed in a timely manner.
Food: Lobster benny & potatoes were good, but luke warm bringing the overall food rating down.

Very neat little place, great service and nice decor. Breakfast and lunch options were interesting and offered a great variety, however I do not recommend getting the French toast as it was very simple and quite disappointing. Receiving 4 slices of wholegrain bread with very little topping do not make a generous breakfast… however, my partner’s omelette was delicious! So definitely worth a visit but do not get the French toast.

Leonhard’s has a really cute, warm, and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you step inside. The service was decent—friendly enough and attentive without being overbearing.
That said, the food didn’t quite live up to the charm of the space. The bacon was definitely the highlight—crispy and tasty. The eggs were cooked properly but lacked seasoning, and while the toast was fine, no jam was provided, which felt like a missed detail. The coffee was unfortunately weak and underwhelming.
Overall, Leonhard’s is a pleasant spot to sit and enjoy the ambiance, but if you’re looking for a standout breakfast, it might leave you wanting more.

This is THE SPOT to eat if you’re in or around Charlottetown. Staff is lively, the space is beautiful, and the food was amazing. Lots of menu choices like all day breakfast, sandwiches, soups, and salads. Oh! And so many options for people with dietary preferences and restrictions. You gotta go!

Leonhard’s is one of those places you find excuses to visit, even when you live nearly 3 hours away. Highly recommended for breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee, cocktails, pastries, etc.

The ingredients were high quality and tasty. However, I got the chicken and goat cheese sandwich and it was dry. Not only that, one side of the sandwhich only had a tiny piece of chicken. I'd expect better for a 25 dollar sandwich
This Cafe has a great vibe with its streetside ambiance and charming decor. While the staff who seated and served us were excellent, our waitress was a bit of a letdown. After being seated, we were left waiting so long for an acknowledgment that we had to approach her ourselves. True service is about managing expectations and acknowledging your customers, not just taking an order.
Thankfully, the food was delicious with a unique flare—we highly recommend the vegetarian omelet and eggs Benedict. Given how busy the cafe was, we'll chalk the service up to a one-off and would happily revisit.

My daughter has celiac, and there where tons of gluten free food wich she really enjoyed eating. I dairy allergy and there a lot food for me to eat, I really recommend this place is you have any allergy.
