I love love love this bakery...today I had pork buns that were so flaky and savoury, a traditional mooncake that melted in the middle when warmed with the best cookie shell, and a cream puff filled to explosion with fresh coconut cream. I always look forward to my visit to Charlottetown just so I can stop here and get very special treats.

Cakes are good, I really love them. Bubble milk tea wasn’t as expected compared to what I paid for (over $9 for a cup of regular size after tax, the most expensive bubble milk tea in the area and I’d say the taste is the worst. Thought it should be as good as how that cakes are). The service was really bad that day when I came and decided to have a seat with my friend instead of doing take out as usual because it was going to rain outside. We couldn’t finish the cakes that we bought and the girl at the counter had a mean face when I asked for a plastic bag to put my leftover creamy cake for taking home. At first, she gave me a paper bag but then showed her attitude when I said I’d like to have a plastic bag instead, said nothing and went straight to the inside and came back to give me the plastic bag without any words. We weren’t happy at all and think we might not come back again

I visit this bakery everytime I'm in the city. Most of the time I visit it's too late in the day & shelves are empty. I happened to drop by early the other day & tried their coconut custard doughnut. It was the best doughnut I have ever had in my life. The quality of their baked goods is more than worth the extra bit of money you'll pay.

I ordered an 8 inch “Black Forest cake” for my birthday on Friday for pick up today. I asked to see a picture of one they have done before. The worker showed me and said just like this except all cherries on the top. That picture was a normal, typical cake. It was almost $80 up front for the cake and I was to pick up prior to 2 pm today. We arrive at 245 and are told to come back in half and hour as they did not have the ingredients to make the cake. My husband came out empty handed. When back (and late for my bday) we got cake…..I have pictures. The top has cherries with the seeds all still in them, the cake is white, all chocolate icing and NOT AT ALL a Black Forest cake. I am so beyond upset as this is the only thing that I wanted for my bday….a good cake.
