I love love love this bakery...today I had pork buns that were so flaky and savoury, a traditional mooncake that melted in the middle when warmed with the best cookie shell, and a cream puff filled to explosion with fresh coconut cream. I always look forward to my visit to Charlottetown just so I can stop here and get very special treats.
I visit this bakery everytime I'm in the city. Most of the time I visit it's too late in the day & shelves are empty.
I happened to drop by early the other day & tried their coconut custard doughnut.
It was the best doughnut I have ever had in my life. The quality of their baked goods is more than worth the extra bit of money you'll pay.

The proprietress is very enthusiastic, and the square toast is the best in the whole restaurant. The cheese cake and puffs are a bit mushy to eat, and the red bean toast is big but dry...
