My friends and I meet on a regular basis for coffee. The last three times the service has been very poor. Forgot to get us coffee when we order. We’ve had to get up and remind them that we were waiting for refills. We’ve also had to ask for sugar and cream even though we ordered it as such. W they ask if we want separate bills and then we don’t get them and have to sort it out at the counter. None of these times were very busy. Not going there any longer. Not feeling like a valued customer.

Receiver Cafe is an absolute gem! The cozy atmosphere, paired with friendly and attentive staff, creates the perfect spot for a relaxing coffee break or casual meal. The menu is diverse, offering a range of delicious options, from fresh pastries to hearty brunch items, all made with quality ingredients. The coffee is exceptional—rich, smooth, and expertly brewed. The cafe’s warm and inviting vibe makes it a fantastic place to catch up with friends, work, or simply enjoy a moment of peace. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or just in the mood for a delicious bite, Receiver Cafe never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Great staff, atmosphere, and food. Excellent place to study!

Horrible experience with food at this place. They should know how something is served before serving it. What place in this world makes cold samosas? Never forgetting this exasperating experience, which made today my first and last visit at this place.

Watch coffee get freshly roasted while sipping on a nice coffee and enjoying a tasty slice of breakfast bread. Service is friendly. Limited seating.

Thank you for the absolute best breakfast sandwich of my life! And the gluten free bread is actually INCREDIBLE! Friendly staff, a great atmosphere, and this breakfast sandwich made my entire week:)

This location has the options to dine in or take out. When you dine in there’s a lot of seating to sit in for such a cozy little spot. But it would be very hard to bring a wheele car into this cafe. The food was really good and the drinks were lukewarm when we got them because the staff were chatting so much they had gone cold by the time we were serviced them.

If you think you know breakfast sandwiches, you don't until you've tried this one! Each ingredient on its own is delicious (especially the fresh bread), but combined they create a sandwich that is as close to magic as exists in this world! Though my time in PEI was limited, I was so impressed that I had it for breakfast twice.

I went there for the first time with my daughter. We wanted to try the hot chocolate. It was a very disappointing experience. The milk was spoiled, no taste of chocolate whatsoever. Not going there again.

My wife and I were visiting the island and figured we’d grab breakfast at a local dine in restaurant, and chose Receiver Coffee - The Brass Shop. SO GLAD we did! WOW wow wow wow wow! The food was DELICIOUS and the coffee was amazing. The ONLY thing that topped the food was the HIGH QUALITY service we got from the young man that served us. One of the best…ever! Seriously one of our best dining experiences. Next drop over to the Island will definitely include a stop here!
