An expansive menu with vegan options clearly identified. It was hard to choose! I can recommend the laksa soup and the 8-gem tofu. Everything was very flavourful and filling. We found the small bowl of rice that came with the main to be sufficient for 2.

My son and I had dinner here and it was a wonderful experience all around. We shared the Sushi and fried dumplings. Both were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed our Miso soup immensely.. To drink we chose a glass of Chocolate drink....soo very yummy. 10/10 recommend Spendid Essence 😃👌🏻

I was pleasantly surprised to find a vegetarian Chinese restaurant on PEI. Many of their options were vegan and they were clearly labeled. I had the sweet and sour tofu and I added chayote. It was delicious but it came with a small bowl of white rice. They also gave the same amount of rice for regular and large entrees. When we asked for more we were told it would be $3.50 extra for a larger bowl of rice.
Other than that I really enjoyed this place. Their steamed bun was so good! It was the best one I’ve had yet.

The food is absolutely amazing. A lot of times when we dine out, we get really thirsty afterwards because they add a lot of artificial stuff. Their dishes do not.
I don’t know exactly the names of the food but we tried the mushrooms, the triangle tofu, pepper chicken nuggets and the beans. I don’t how it works but we were provided box of rice to go along as well.
Highly recommended. Best vegetarian in town for sure.
