Tekila Authentic Mexican cuisine

After reading a lot of excellant reviews I finally tried your place. I am from California and have travelled a lot in Mexico. And eaten a lot of Mexican food, from Baja to the Yucatan.My partner picked up mol enchiladas. Terrible.Dry. Very plain rice with a few pieces of corn The mol sauce, instead of a complicated savory somewhat spicy sauce was almost like a sauce you would have on ice cream. .The tortillas were hard and the pasty hardish chicken (?)was tasteless. All for almost 30. With the tip. Pretty sad.

Great spot! Second time eating there and it was a good time. Live jazz was a nice surprise. The drinks were on point, and the food was pretty good.service was a little slow and check ins were few and far between, but it was very busy, so I assume that was the issue. Will definitely recommend and return.

Everything is very subdued, when leaving the establishment they don't even say thank you, see you later. Bad service. They gave us two spoons of sauce for a table of 4 people, errors in the order with someone who had an allergy to pork, he was asked without bacon and they put bacon on his plate, I took my Arab friends to learn about Mexican food and I left sorry for the service and the stinginess in their sauces and having to ask them for more because they only gave them two tacos.

Real Mexican food! I'm Mexican so I can say that! Amazing food! It is a great price and has a wonderful staff. Friday and Saturday nights have live music! Big collection of Tequila!

I had the shrimp alambre. It was delicious! The shrimp was fresh and juicy, the soft tortilla was light and just the right texture. Changed my perception of Mexican food!

I just ate the most fabulous and unexpected beef quesadilla at Tekila. I've never had fried quesadilla before and there was SO MUCH beef, it was super flavourful, the hot sauce was delicious, and i was surprised how fresh the fried dough was! not greasy, just puffy and crunchy and delicious. Would 100% eat again, and highly recommend! The servers "Love is Love" t-shirt made it even better ?
