We had an excellent meal last night! The only problem was that I can never look at regular butter again after having their pig butta...dang, just everything was so good. Can’t wait to go back!
We heard that this was one of the top restaurants to visit in Canada: lo and behold, Terra Rossa more than just lives up to expectation - it soars! The charcuterie is the perfect way to start. The mushroom ragoue(t) was a perfect window into farm to table, Canadian dining. Regarding the roasted mushroom ragoue: so fresh, and great texture contrast with the kale and crunchy bits to contrast the softness or the noodle and meat-like bite to the mushrooms.
Went with a a group of friends to celebrate my birthday . We drank a handful of bottles of wine- it was great company and we were enjoying ourselves . Overall the food was fine. There were nine of us and only one of us had a meal that wasn’t fine. When we mentioned that the risotto was runny and overall didn’t taste great, someone came out from the kitchen and told us that they “have been to Italy and this is exactly how it is cooked there”.
