The lady was so kind and warm. She was dancing and signing all the time; great vibe.

Both the sandwich and the lobster poutine were delicious and the price is VERY reasonable.

Best fish and chips ever. And that's coming from a kiwi girl I grew up on some of the world's best sea food and this definitely ranks. The owner is so nice and friendly and her hand cut fries are definitely something to write home about. They are perfectly salty and just amazing! The fish as absolutely fantastic too!
The local crows might try to intimidate you out of a few chips but that's all part of the sea side experience 😆

Mmm...gluten free fish and chips! Great prices on each item. Well worth the trip to get there. My family ordered hotdogs w/fries. But, oh my, the apple fries with caramel! We definitely ordered 2 orders. All was great except, yes I'm serious, the ketchup. It was not a good generic brand and was undesirable.

We stopped in during a food tour, and were greeted by the most lovely owner Karen. Every fry made with live to make the best fresh cut fries I’ve ever had!!

GLUTEN FREE FISH AND CHIPS! As someone with food allergies, finding a place like the chip shack was magical. Went there for dinner both nights I was in Charlottetown. Food was ready in about 10 minutes. Portions are generous and the food is delicious! If you still have room, get the apple fries for dessert!

Stopped in because of seeing this location on you gotta eat here. It shoulda said you shouldn’t eat here if you are hungry and have high blood pressure. Attitude from the owner was obviously well hidden while on the program. Couldn’t eat the fries and gravy, more salt than I am permitted to eat. We ordered two large poutines, which were very small, and watched someone after us get twice the size for 1 poutine. Anyway, tried it, don’t recommend it.

We stopped for a quick bite of lobster rolls and fries. Fries are always good in PEI but the 26$ lobster roll had about 2 tablespoons worth of lobster. And it was fairly tasteless. I wanted to love it but it was just too expensive for what we got. Service and atmosphere was boardwalk-y and nice

Had the lobster poutine. Owner said it was noted on the food network. Horrible. For 28$, not worth it at all. It was soooo salty. The fries had odd, hard, chewy parts. The lobster tasted funny. Was it bad?? The owner was loud, obnoxious and annoying. Will not be back. Not worth the time or money at all. :(

If I could give it a zero I would. After standing at the counter for 5 min with no acknowledgment from the guy working there, we left. He was literally 3 feet away, there were no other customers, he was standing facing us buttering a hotdog bun. Needless to say, we gave our business to someone else. Peakes Quay and Dave’s Lobster has outstanding staff.

Despite PEI being the land of potatoes, we found it hard to find fresh cut fries in the province - but this chip shop did not disappoint. Made fresh to order, you're given a little buzzer to come back when your food's ready (just took a few minutes.) Would recommend getting them as a snack to share, or one large may be enough for a small meal.
We only got the fries, but the apple fries and grilled cheese that others ordered before us also looked great.
It's located on the lower level of the dock, so you have to go down the marina ramp to get to it the dock. Plenty of seating available with a little beach volleyball court (heads up the dock is quite sandy because of it.)

Came to the island for a short trip, came across this spot while in Charletown, and man oh man it was good! Fresh fish, wicked tartar sauce super crunchy batter! And it was gluten free! I have never seen gluten free fish befor! It was sooo yummy! Service was good too! Hands down will stop by next time I’m over for another good feed!
