Fantastic atmosphere, good price. The fish and chips were great! The pulled pork poutine was a bit disappointing. There wasn't much cheese and lacking flavour in the pulled pork. Overall, 5 stars if you order the right food.
We ordered 2 lobster rolls and fries with two drinks. Easy enough but we waited 20 mins for it. I asked about the status of our order and they ran out of lobster so we had to wait. No big deal except that I saw two people who ordered after me receive their lobster rolls first. Fries were good, lobster roll not the greatest - tasted super salty. Disappointing experience. I hope the tip I left covered the service fee they had to pay in order for me to use my credit card.
The Chip Shack has amazing poutine! My celiac daughter was able to have gluten free poutine. She was so happy! The food is delicious and the atmosphere was great! What a special spot!
