One of the better food I've had in a while, rice are nice soft, and seasoned well, while the chicken are crispy on the outside, while tender and soft on the inside, I was completely blown away from the taste to price ratio!

Was asked plenty of times if we had tried the new "Jamaican" resturant on NR Rd. so naturally we had to check it out. First off, its Ghanaian, and secondly, it's amazing. This is the kind of hidden authetic cuisine where you want to order ahead, because the food is prepared fresh, and after all- good things come to those who wait.
- Wings were great, the meat willing to jump off the bone and into your mouth. The sauce is tangy yet savoury, and instantly had me Googling for a recipe. - Veggie Jollof was spicy, but luckily I can never get enough spice. The seasoning was (and I cannot stress this enough) like nothing we have ever had before. So good, so fresh, and SO much food.
The chef is a very nice, humble guy who you can tell takes pride in his food and his culture. Will absolutely be back soon to try the peanut butter soup!

I was really looking forward to trying the food at Jollof House since I loved Toks Aroma. I wanted to try jollof rice at another restaurant to get a true feel of Nigerian cuisine flavours. I must say that I was disappointed by the lack of seasoning, especially on the chicken. The rice was pretty bland even with the additional spice added to the side of the dish. I needed way more spice. I feel like this restaurant has been westernized to increase profit and unfortunately reducing authenticity.
Also… the plantains were burnt and cost $5.99 for a portion that is way below the worth. And I love plantain so I am sure you can understand my dissatisfaction.
Sorry for leaving this type of review. Overall the service was great and the chicken was juicy!

We were visiting PEI and needed some home style cooking, this place did not disappoint. The Jollof rice, chicken drumsticks, coleslaw was amazing. Very generous amount of rice. I'm definitely having this again when I come back. I'll add some more drumsticks to my order as well!
Food was great, I took the jollof rice with 2 drumsticks.Portions are reasonable and the salad on the side is amazing.

We were looking for something different in the area and we were glad we found Jollof House. We had both items on the menu and we were happy with our choice to stop here. The chicken was delicious, the soup was so delicious. The rice was super flavorful and we enjoyed the spice level. The food needs to be excellent if there are only two choices. We will be back when we get back to the island.
