Such amazing food. Had egusi w/chicken and pounded yam and it was so good. Very good quantities and fresh food.

I had to call several times to get someone on the phone during business hours. When they finally picked up, the host had a very nasty attitude in response to very routine questions.

Nigerian restaurants need to do better with customer service. It really puts a bad taste in the mouth to pay to be disrespected.

The food itself was of good quantity but the taste was unfortunately average (meat was fatty, soup overly oily, jollof rice very salty).

Very lovely and customer friendly. Food was spot on.

I was so excited to finally try egusi soup with fufu, after seeing it go viral online last year or so I’d hoped that one day I’d be able to try it and finally heard that Tok’s Aroma had it. It has such a deep flavour and it was still so hot after driving 15 minutes home, and the portion size was large. I still have enough for lunch for work tomorrow! The pounded yam was incredible, the perfect vessel for the Egusi. The beef was so good and tender. I don’t usually like fish but the addition of the sardine (or whatever small fish it was) perfectly balanced the flavour without making it “fishy”. Will most certainly be ordering again, and it is so reasonably priced as well! Also got a free can of Pepsi since it was my first order!

First time ever trying this type of food and I was definitely not disappointed! I’m not a huge fan of spicy but even with it having a mild kick I couldn’t stop eating it! I couldn’t decide between the chicken or beef since of course I never had neither so could choose, they were so lovely and gave me a bit of both to decide for myself which I would prefer for the future. Both meats were delightful! 10/10 recommend ordering from here, I will be again for sure!

Toks Aroma is my go-to person for all my food needs! Whether you like it spicy or not, she's got you covered. And if you're craving something that's not on her menu, just give her a call and she'll make it happen.

Even if you're only in Charlottetown for a night, make sure to connect with her for a personalized food experience. She's your ultimate food plug!

I highly recommend trying any of Toks Aroma's meals, as they're all delicious! I don't have a personal favorite, so feel free to try anything on the menu - you won't be disappointed!

Don't even waste your time ordered jollof rice and they only gave 2 piece of meat if you want your precious money to get taken order from. Them , I have so much more to say but I will leave it at that !

As someone who has been trying different Nigerian dishes, this is the place in Charlottetown that has seemed the most authentic and deliciously spicy! Yea it may be kinda awkward to go to someone’s house but TRUST! It is worth the 5 stars!! I have tried the chicken and Jollof rice with plantain multiple times now and it always stays consistently good. I highly recommend adding the plantain which is pleasantly sweet but still goes well with the savory meal. Recently I tried the Egusi stew and fufu (pounded yam). Sorry I’m not sure on the correct terminology. The stew was also spicy and very flavourful!! The texture of the pounded yam was like that of mochi or perhaps playdough but it was a dish that I think would make sense as a comfort food. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant ?

We travel from NB just for Toks - that’s how good it is. The food is ALWAYS phenomenal and the service is just as wonderful! I got the fried beef and egusi, while my boyfriend got the jollof rice. we were also given a sweet treat as a nice surprise!

unbeknownst to us, we forgot our coleslaw, but she was sweet enough to call us and let us know! place your order and support a TRUE local establishment. nothing quite beats home cooking!
