I posted my experience with the terrible food under Red Shores.

One of my worst dining experiences. Party of 6, noon on a Monday.
5/6 ordered drinks, only one of which was an alcoholic beverage and it took 13mins to receive our drinks. Ordered our mains - I ordered the Steak Sandwich, medium rare, and it came out just over 1/4” thick, didn’t take up the bun, open-faced and topped with straight-from-the-fridge cold Carmelized onions.
When our waitress set it down I asked where the top half of my bun was and she said it was served open-faced and said that on the menu (I double checked… I certainly did not.) and then as she went to get me my top bun I touched the onions which is when I found out the onions were stone cold. She said they are supposed to be that way. Never have I ever read a menu that says Carmelized onions on a steak sandwich and expected them to be chilled…
I was met with nothing but attitude from the waitress when I asked for them to be heated and have a top bun for my sandwich and when I got it back from the kitchen it was clear my plate just sat there with the fries under a heater and they just tossed the steak and onions in the microwave. She insisted again, with attitude, the menu states open-faced (it does not) and said again that many restaurants serve cold Carmelized onions on their sandwiches (I am a cook and have never encountered this before anywhere).
My steak was a very well done piece of leather with microwaved onions on a damp garlic ciabatta bun with Luke warm fries.
I was incredibly disappointed. My Dad also asked for no Dijon and yellow mustard instead and received Dijon and had to ask again for yellow. No one in my party was pleased with their food.

Never returning. Absolute garbage.

We ordered appetizers and mains. All of the food came at once. Food was mediocre at best. The atmosphere was great.

Can't beat the food, service, and the price of the food for what you get.😋

We arrived on a Saturday night without a reservation. They were very busy. The manager seated us and when we mentioned it was our first time there, she took the time to explain how everything at the racetrack and restaurant worked. We were very appreciative that she took the time to do this knowing how busy they were. The service overall was very good. The food was also good. My husband had a burger and I had the beef dip sandwich. Both meals were enjoyable. We only stayed for a couple of races but it was entertaining. We will definitely go back to try other menu items and watch more of the races.

Fish was over cooked and greasy. Like it was re cooked. Seafood chowder had nothing but broth. So disappointed

A relaxing comfortable place to eat. Able to accommodate larger family groups which is important to us. Staff are friendly and courteous. Food is excellent especially their new item Jim's Breakfast satisfyingly delicious.

Food was very good. It's a boisterous place by nature. But I was most impressed by the customer service and the staff. The level of staff attention was amazing! And I was even further impressed to see the same staff working the casino and upstairs. Absolutely top rate crew!

We had no idea this restaurant was in a casino!! Hahaha it was fun. Food pretty terrible other than the seafood chowder. Our server was really nice though.

Have not eaten here since it was Turfs back in the day. Glad I decided to try out the new spot as O'Briens. Vastly superior to what was there before. Had just a burger and fries. Was very very good. Very friendly staff as well. Will definitely be back!

Nice open and airy place. Neat interior design and colors.
I had southwest salad and it was ok, just not to my liking but the quality was excellent.

I'll go back and try something else. The menu had good choices.

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp inside.

Took one of the kids out for a meal, did not want to go to the usual places so we went to check out this restaurant.
Turned out to be a fantastic idea.
Loved the service.
The area is nicely laid out and decorated.
The food was great. Lots of vegetarian options.
Will be back.

All of these reviews are from before and for the old Turfs. O'Briens nees to change that because it is far superior. The prices are comparable to any restaurant these days, and some of them seemed even low. The atmosphere and decorations are far nicer than turfs was, making it feel like a restaurant instead of a bar. The only gripe I have is the Stirfry curry I ordered wasn't very curry like. Doesn't mean it didn't taste good!

This is a restaurant I'd go to again, instead of it just being the place that's closest to the track.
