Ate here twice on a recent trip to PEI. Food was great (I had the fish sandwich), several good local beers on tap and in pint cans, and server/bartender was excellent. Enjoyed the dive bar atmosphere, and this place seems popular with locals which is always a good sign.
Small restaurant/bar with only 3 bar and maybe 10-15 tables. Food service was intermittent. Staying here for a week and coming multiple times, food service times changed frequently and were unpredictable. Don't expect to eat after 7pm during the week unless it is a Friday, as the kitchen closes. Tracey was the absolute best bartender though and is the reason we kept going back. She made the place fabulous. Food was fine, and we would have liked to eat here more often, but...
The title of the review says it all: Our waitress was excellent: She was super friendly, attentive, and made a point for us to feel welcomed and have a good night. The food, however, was just fair. The quality of the food simply was just not that great (things tasted almost stale, some food was overcooked, and some food could have been hotter).
