Place was empty. Waitress greeted us with “no cod, no chicken, no lobster! “. We ordered the two piece halibut for $45 which was not great. The haddock was good. Waitress bragged about the fries but not a lot of them and no coleslaw! Then no vinegar nor malt vinegar. Good tartar sauce though! It was our first meal in PEI and we were a little disappointed for $100. Restaurant was a little worn out and needs updating and a good cleaning

Overall quite disappointed with restaurant given the 4.3 star rating. Our waitress was nice, but the food was not great and they did not have many items available(empty seats on a Saturday lunch and no hamburgers, shrimp or cod available). Food took about 40 minutes to arrive, all was fryer prepared, and there were only three tables with people. This kitchen needs a manager.

So many great choices near by, I'd skip this place unless you're looking for a quick drink

First off, I hate to write a bad review, but I feel like everyone needs a heads up.

Our waitress was very nice, but unfortunately, had poor memory and didn't know how to waitress/host a restaurant. There was poor lighting, and the bathroom was dirty with sticky floors. We had to ask for waters, cutlery, and ketchup. We ordered 2 kids fish and chips, and a Philly steak burger. My wife ordered a coffee and wasn't brought out. The serving of fries was small all around, and the meat on the burger was burnt. No tartar sauce for fish and chips either. Last but not least, the restaurant wasn't busy at all, and we had to wait ~40 minutes for our food to be served. I was very disappointed and was not worth the overpriced food and wait time.

I would not recommend this restaurant. Seemed dirty inside, the food was small and under cooked, and the gluten free items were TERRIBLE and also under cooked. The waitress over stepped by offering our toddler juice and freezies (as nice of a gesture as it was, we don’t normally offer these things to our toddler). On top of all the terrible the prices are insane, and the portion so small.

Don’t go.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free was under cooked and awful. Save your money.

I bought 3 1pc halibut fish chips extremely disappointed for $25.00 per meal the size of fish and amount of chips how cheap can you get this restaurant needs to learn portin sizes from Cape Breton or Halifax. The fish and chips both dry shame on your cook for sending this out

The fish n' chips are awesome. I took the haddock - 2 fillets - and let me tell you that it did not disappoint in both quality and quantity!!!

Service was great. The food not great. First off they have very few menu choice and for a seafood restaurant in PEI they had very little to choose from. Second the seafood that we did get the haddock was a very good size but it tasted old and slimy and was not edible. The shrimp dish didn't even come with fries. The ketchup tasted old and sour. Third the kids "menu" that was verbally told to us because they don't have a menu had good choices and the kids enjoyed their food that's a plus.

Arriving towards the end of dinner time, we were warmly welcomed and served in less time even though the children were hungry. Fresh, hot and delicious fish and chips as well as fries and tartar sauce. Hard to beat!

Very good service.
The lady who was in charge of the service helped me with my choice of dish and the quantity among the many varieties offered.
The welcome was very warm and the service was good.
I will definitely return there during my next trip to Charlottetown.
