I have to give the young people who worked here a shout out. Working in fast food in a tourist heavy area isn't an easy task and they kept their cool, they kept happy attitudes, and they were kind even when my husband and I came in 15 mins before close, which neither of us would normally want to do, having worked in the food industry both ourselves. They were quick and kind though and it was much appreciated!
I visited here during the evening in the summer. I personally feel it's a bit out of the way now in comparison to the rest of the boardwalk. However, it is very spacious and there was lots of place to sit inside and out. That being said, most of the picnic tables were dirty with food spilt all over them and not cleaned... My husband had a delicious beavertail with nutella. I had the maple version. It was not good - too sticky and burnt almost... Stick to the classic or avalanche.
