“I arrived at this location following a long hot bike ride....a much needed beverage (or two) and a terrific sandwich awaited.... one of the better options in this ”
“Stopped for lunch here at the Cavendish Boardwalk after seeing the AoGG Heritage site. This place was *hopping* for lunch, which is always a good sign. Our family has to navigate life with a severe nut allergy, so we were impressed when the staff took the time to discuss with us exactly which menu items were made in-house and safe. It's a mom and pop operation, they talked about how hard it was to find consistency and quality from the suppliers during -and after- the pandemic. We were able to find several food options for my son, and for him we ordered fried fish with a side of poutine. He was in heaven. Well, we all were, actually, because the seafood was delish. We even returned later for soft serve ice cream because they guaranteed it was nut-free. My kid has only had ice cream from a commercial restaurant maybe 2 or 3 times in his life, so it was a very rare and welcome treat. We definitely recommend Captain Scott's - both for their food and also for their family's friendliness and service. We love this place. Thank you!”
“Best place on the North Shore.... atmosphere, food and service is all amazing!!!! We actually go there weekly it is that good... and Pedro always puts on daily and/or weekly specials so always something new to try... :) Simply delicious”
“I went here with my family in the summer on the recommendation of a family friend and I can honestly say it’s one of the best meals I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We had a bit of trouble finding the place because it’s tucked away in a nook in the boardwalk, but boy am I glad we did. Now usually, I’m not the biggest eater, but I polished off my plate at this place and then had dessert. I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re in the area, check this place out!”
“The roast chicken dinner special was delicious. Quality every time we visit. Homemade bread pudding stuffing. Our vegetable was a mix of carrot, turnip, parsnip, and cabbage. Fresh and tasty!”
“This place is absolutely amazing. We tried going back two times only to find out they are only open Wednesday to Saturday 10-6. I cried a little. The pie is amazing. But I've never had anything in my life better then the round apple stuffed pastry. It's to die for. We will be back!!!”
“My wife and I were surprised that the establishment was open and stopped in out of curiosity. Had a drink at the bar with a delightful server. A very clean and well maintained place. We will be back.”
“The food was absolutely amazing I had a chicken wrap with a 6' cheese pizza with pineapple. I was blown away by how good it was my daughter is a picky eater and even loved it and I absolutely loved that they had vegetarian meals. The prices were shocking but in a good way with the amount of food. my chicken wrap had a really good amount of chicken in it and it was so juicy. The pizza had a really good amount of cheese and pineapple on it and the crust was even amazing I highly recommend it. ( The restaurant is for sale and I ate here before it was sold)”
“Visiting PEI from Germany I found Angelikas German Pastry Shop in Hunter River and I also visited her at the Farmers Market in Charlottetown. Her Display Case looks amazing, just mouth watering.I do love KAESE SAHNE TORTE so much and Angelika offers this type of Torte with peaches inside and on the top. It`s so fresh and fruity. A highlight of my rainy day in PEI.I also tried the TOBLERONE TORTE. Lots of Toblerone pieces are nestled between rich choc. and vanilla Mousse in layers of Hazelnut cake and fluffy browny cake. Lots of SWISS choc. on top and whole pieces of crunchy Toblerone chocolate. Absolutely delicious. The best choc. Torte I`ve ever had. And it turns out Gluten free. She said it`s also possible to order in dairy free.”
“Tasty, quick, generous portions. Poutine was made with squeaky curds and crispy fries, and was not too salty. Quality and portion size was better than I was expecting for the price. The view is beautiful and there is a small playground area.”
“The Coffee is always so good. An iced coffee with caramel shot always has me coming back here. Really the only downfall is minor mistakes in orders because staff is rushing. I can recommend any breakfast sandwich combo, but they do put a lot of mayo on them which I don't enjoy that much. Other than that, very nice food and drinks, Robin's is always my goto for breakfast or afternoon coffee!”
“Stopped in on our drive through PEI, they were the sweetest people and treated us amazing providing a free treat for my toddler and even picked her two flowers off their plants for her to have. 100% ”
“Stopped in this subway for supper last night. Newly situated, used to be at the Boardwalk, but now in the same building as Ripleys. Great restaurant, staff members were nice, lots of outdoor covered seating. As usual, subway is inexpensive and tasty.”

“We wanted a nice place to take some friends out for a nice meal while on PEI. The Mill was an excellent choice. We all chose something different and all meals were delicious and well presented. Our choice we had were the salmon special, the chicken pot pie, the beef dinner, and the chicken. We started with the Island mussels. The building has a lot of charm to it. We had a table overlooking the river below. The dining room had a nice ambiance to it. The only drawback is when it is a full house, the room can get quite noisy. Other than that, everything including the service was top notch.”
