The locals love it, and the tourists are finding out it’s the best lobster roll, potato salad, fish tacos, chowder, etc. you are going to find. The service is top notch from Brooklyn as she is a total sweet heart and is literally running all day from table to table! Everything is prepared in house. This is food prepared with love that only a family run restaurant can provide. Come try it and see for yourself. Tell them Chris’s sent ya!”

“BOOMburger is located in a converted church, which gives the restaurant a unique atmosphere and a spacious interior.
There are no combo meals, so you order the burger, fries, and drinks separately, which can make the meal a little pricey. However, they use quality local ingredients such as PEI beef and potatoes, as well as dairy products from COWS, so the price felt reasonable considering the quality.
Everything was delicious, and we really enjoyed our meal!”

“Such a sweet little shopping and restaurant village! Last fall I came to Cavendish with a group of ladies. We enjoyed browsing the boutiques, lingering over coffee and savouring amazing pizza. I read the reviews of people who are sad for what it used to be. I can understand - but I also understand the need to make it viable from a business standpoint. I still recommend enjoying it for what it is now! The grounds are well-kept and the historic buildings make for a very charming experience.”

“Ok!!! Let me start by saying that we had a mixed group of 15 individuals from Ontario, Montreal, Halifax, Fredericton and NL. There was a mix up in a reservation (we were at wrong restaurant lol) and there was no space inside. The girls there, manager I believe suggested a small place on their deck where they put up a wall for us to block any wind, which was great and beautiful at the same time having an exceptional view of the water. Ok, so now 15 people how quickly and good will food be. These waitresses were like nothing we have ever seen, worked together, drinks came fast with smiles. Appetizers came shortly there after and then the mains, near perfect timing. Then the food! No question, best muscles I have ever had in my life and I’ve ate a lot of muscles!! The fish cakes, the lobster Mac and cheese, the salads, unreal!! I hope whoever owns this place appreciates and realizes the great staff they have, because they were perfect in every way and same for the chefs.. We have all ate in lots of restaurants and this is a must if you’re heading to North Rustico, you won’t be disappointed!!! “An amazing stop to find minutes from the campground . Greeted by the nicest people. The bread , multi grain and raisin are so good. The desserts all look so delicious that it was hard not to buy one of each. The strawberry rhubarb pie was the perfect choice.

“We absolutely loved our meals (yes, we went more than once during our time in PEI)! The garlic fingers were amazing, and the bacon-cheeseburger quickly became a family favourite. “Stopped by at Carr's Stanley Bridge on Saturday afternoon and the deck overlooking the harbour was worth the wait for a table. The chowder had real chunks of scallop and mussel in it, not the usual watered down version you get at tourist spots. Service was quick and friendly even though the place was packed with the lunch crowd, and our server actually knew which boats the oysters came in on that morning. Parking lot fills up fast by 1pm so get there early if you want a spot close to the entrance.”

“Sou'West is one of those cozy local pub eateries focused on seafood... being my first time, I ordered the fish and chips and I was not disappointed. The fish was extraordinarily tender, the Cavendish fries were excellent, and the coleslaw was pretty good... considering I'm fussy about coleslaw hahaha... the staff was friendly, and polite... and the outdoor deck looking over the water was an excellent bonus. If you're visiting the Anne of Green Gables museum, its just minutes away, and worth the stop. (FYI, my pic has a few missing fries because I started eating them before the pic lol)”

“Beaver Tails are delicious and they taste the same if you were in Ottawa or Cavendish. The store is nicely decorated and feels so Canadian, but the service doesn't, it was average.”
