We ordered a takeout 30 minutes prior to their closing time. We had ordered for a combo option. When we opened the takeout bag after reaching our campsite, we found that the beef broccoli was missing. The portion size of the chowmein and the chicken fried rice was too small compared to other Chinese restaurants. The chicken was hard to find in the chicken fried rice. Only the egg rolls were the best out of the lot. We were very disappointed as we were extremely hungry and the dinner combo was not enough. When we called up the restaurant we were told that we will have to drive back all over to the restaurant to obtain a refund or to receive the missing item. We were not given the option of refund through email money transfer. After a full day of traveling we did not have the energy to drive back to the restaurant. They asked us to come back the next morning but we had to leave from the campsite in the morning as per our itinerary. Cavendish was a great experience apart from this dinner!!!

We've driven by here year after year without stopping in but after a Facebook suggestion, we decided to try it. Boy, are we glad we did. This gem is clean and charming, and the food was simply delicious. It was fresh & tasty and the portions are pretty generous. Highly recommend!

Such good food.the eggrolls amazing home made plum sauce goes great on the egg rolls and rice. Classic Pei Chinese food reminds me so much of the place around the corner near Myrons back in the early 2000's. Have been twice ( no longer living in Island) and will be back again.

Wonderful meal, dinner combo 3 with wonton soup, beef and broccoli, chicken pork shrimp chow mein, sweet and sour chicken balls and fried rice. All hot, nothing over spiced, all delicious!!!! My wife got turkey club and fries really good too.
Vegetarian options: Just ask for no meat stir fry

We came to PEI on holidays and decided to stop here for dinner. Everything was excellent: the food, the service (right from the reception), and the place was very clean. It was an experience we'd like to have again
