Our drinks were excellent and the food and baked goods looked very tasty as well. They offer cold matcha, but not hot, which suggests it may be a liquid additive instead of actual matcha. The space was somewhat dominated by the long queue, but was nonetheless enjoyable.
Five visits in 3 days we are impressed all around. Service is good, vibes are good, food is good. Modern cafe fare (avocado toast, healthy homemade granola and more) the matcha lattes are good and the baked goods excellent too. Well done 👍
Unfortunately, we went there and were told they’ve removed all their gluten free sandwich options. The menu listed iced tea at $4, but they said it was actually $7. This place used to be one of the best, but it’s really slipped lately.
Coffee and sandwich was just perfect for our family. Cute and clean cafe. Highly recommended.
Needed a break from the complementary breakfast offered at the hotel, should have gone here earlier!!! Freshly backed muffins and pastries and an awesome latte ☺️🥰
I’ve been patiently waiting for Samuel’s Cavendish to open for the season since I’ve moved to the north shore. Visited today and had a great experience. The barista’s were lovely! The woman who took my order was so kind and friendly. Actually, they all were! I ordered an iced dirty chai latte (my go-to) and it was delicious, probably top 5 dirty chais I’ve had. I also got the breakfast sandwich and it was amazing. I’ll be back for another one for sure!
Highly recommend taking your order to go and having lunch on the beach!
Love the atmosphere here, but did not enjoy my london fog. It was very bland and not as enjoyable as I've had from other coffee shops.
Stopped in for an iced tea and date nut square. Both were refreshing.
I gave it 4 stars because the portion size was a bit small. 😅 The breakfast was delicious, but I was still hungry afterward. Overall, my family and I really enjoyed it, and I’d recommend anyone visiting PEI to stop by Samuel's and try their breakfast.

Beautiful, warm and cozy place happily serving delicious coffee and pastries tasting like heaven! I chose to start my day at Samuel’s for my entire vacation time in that area of the island. I am a coffee snob and still, I was very impressed with the quality and the technique.

Weird smell in the restaurant, mixed smells of sweet and coffee, and not in a good way, coffee was good but the bread of the sandwich was moist, tried chicken pesto.

Some of the best tea available. I'm partial to strong English tea which can be hard to come by, but Samuel's has some nice choices.
