I recently visited By The Bay Family Restaurant and was really impressed! The portions were huge—definitely great value for the price. The service was friendly, fast, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for families or anyone looking for a comfortable place to enjoy a great meal. Everything was very fairly priced, and the quality exceeded expectations.

You feel like you have found where the locals eat as soon as you walk in, but the highlight was the food! My partner has a culinary degree and was a chef for more than a decade and he said it was the best fish and chips he has ever had in his life! And the lemon merengue pie was also simply to die for. Highly recommend!

The only good thing about this restaurant is that it was open in the off season. Ordered the fish and chips, and the lobster roll. Nothing has even a pinch of salt on it. And all of it came out of a bag or a box. Skip this place if you can.

Wonderful family restaurant! Great portions and prices. Really well prepared food and friendly service. Good old fashioned home style food. Best fries I have had in years.

We absolutely loved our meals (yes, we went more than once during our time in PEI)! The garlic fingers were amazing, and the bacon-cheeseburger quickly became a family favourite. The calzone was one of the best I ever had. Super-friendly staff made the whole experience even better. Thank you so much for everything!
