Whike passing through Summerside we tried Hoss's. We were hoping for a sitdown place but found out after arriving it was takeout only. Very large portions and we ended up ordering too much for our meal. Heated the leftovers up the next day for lunch.
They have a lovely pan fried haddock, average popcorn chicken poutine, regular poutine and clubhouse dinner but the lobster rolls aren't very good. One of the cashier's was leaving while the other was just beginning so there was quiet a bit of change over issues that resulted in us not receiving all that we asked for/paid for. There's no seating area, and there was a wait but nothing extensive. This was my second attempt there, the last time (2.years ago) I ordered...
We were passing through the Summerside area around lunch time and came upon Hoss's. The friendly lady at the till assured us that the Seafood Platter, which we decided to get, is enough for 2. And boy was she right! The plate was absolutely huge! There were 2 large pieces of haddock, shrimps, bacon wrapped scallops, clam strips, and lots of fries.
