“One of the few restaurants we found open on a weekday during the off-season in Summerside. It’s a big and pleasant place with really good service.

We ordered a burger and pasta. The pasta was huge and tasty - not the best pasta you’ll ever have, and the sauce was a bit unusual, but still good. The burger was very nice. They packed it up for us to take home, which we really appreciated.

“From Toronto and was in town on 2 occasions the last week and had both Lunch and Dinner here, great and friendly service and the Ceaser Salad was amazing. Owner let us post a flyer for our local coin buying event and was very welcoming. Great place and will eat here again while im visiting 😉“

“We have recently rediscovered China Star they will always be our pick from now on. The service is friendly and wonderful, the takeout is packaged with care. Tonight, through no fault of theirs, we got a dish that we thought was wrong. It turns out that we misunderstood what we ordered. We called to confirm with them and they immediately wanted to replace it. When I told her we were just curious about a sauce, she offered us a different version of it at no cost AND extra egg rolls despite it being our fault for not knowing what the dish offered. They explained the best way to eat it and how to order it right the next time. And there will definitely be a next time. Thank you for being so gracious to our mistake and going the extra mile to make us feel appreciated.“

“Brothers 2 in Summerside did not disappoint this past Thursday evening. (Forgot to take pics). I had the spicy chicken burger, my husband and one of our friends had the salmon and another the chicken quesadilla. The portions including sides were plenty. Our server Sarah was so friendly and made the night complete. We hadn't been there in about 3 years but will be back. Thank you Sarah for the exceptional service.“

“Quality of pizza is very inconsistent. Sometimes it's really good and sometimes it's terrible. I ordered 18 inch 4 topping with 2l pop (47.99 after taxes and delivery) everytime. Last time it was missing a topping completely. This time it was overloaded with sauce and hardly any crust at all. Very little toppings this time also. The box my pizza was delivered jn was damaged this time. After receiving the pizza and walking in my door it broke up from the bottom and 4 slices hit the floor. I attempted to call them but could not get through (assuming busy do to father's day) so I am writing this review now instead. I will say the staff who answer the phones are always super friendly and polite when I call. I dont expect perfection every time but when I'm paying top dollar for pizza some consistency in the qualoty would go a long way in keeping me a satisfied customer.
Update.
After originally posting my review the restaurant reached out to me to discuss my concerns and offered me a small discount on a future order. I accepted the offer and have since then ordered from them on many occasions. Every time the food has been excellent. The ladies answering the phone and the girl delivering my pizza remain super friendly and accommodating. The prices are on the higher end compared to other spots I the city but the food has been worth it. I will.continue to go to them as my first option“
