“The staff went above and beyond for us - we have 4 kids, 1 being a cranky 2 year old. I think maybe the man was a manager but he came out and held our toddler while we waited for food - which they got out extra speedy so the kids wouldn’t be waiting long. They gave the kids toys and were just overall super pleasant and lovely, kind and patient. Thank you! Ps not to mention the food was wonderful.“

“We had the best Lamb Rogan Josh at Taste of India this week. I ordered it medium for extra spice and it was delicious. Lamb can be easily overcooked and this was cooked perfectly! Great portion size, would only need to split one protein with one vegetable curry for two people with naan/rice. We will be back :D“

“We came from NS. A group of over 20 of us…we should have made a reservation but it was a very last minute decision. The entire staff accommodated us without question. Super friendly staff, quick service and awesome atmosphere. Thank you from the 15U Fury Basketball team (and their parents)!!!!🏀“

“The pizza has the potential to be great, but it’s never cooked properly. The toppings are charred, but the dough is gummy and uncooked. My last 3 orders all had to be re cooked at home.“

“My wife and I were visiting the island and figured we’d grab breakfast at a local dine in restaurant, and chose Receiver Coffee - The Brass Shop. SO GLAD we did! WOW wow wow wow wow! The food was DELICIOUS and the coffee was amazing. The ONLY thing that topped the food was the HIGH QUALITY service we got from the young man that served us. One of the best…ever! Seriously one of our best dining experiences. Next drop over to the Island will definitely include a stop here!“

TODAY MY FRIEND AND I, HAD A WONDERFUL LUNCH AT THE TOP OF THE PARK, OUR FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT ON P.E.I., HANDS DOWN. THE SALAD, THE MEAL AND THE DESERTS, WERE TO DIE FOR. WE PAID OUR BILL, WENT TO THE WASHROOM, AND OUT TO THE CAR. WHEN WE REACHED THE CAR, I SAID, WHERE IS MY PURSE? BACK TO THE RESTAURANT, NOT THERE... BACK TO THE BATHROOM, NOT THERE... “Came here on a Tuesday night with a few friends and honestly did not expect to be this impressed. The pancakes were enormous and perfectly golden, and my buddy's chicken club was stacked way higher than any of us anticipated. Our server checked in at just the right times without hovering, which is a small thing but makes such a difference when you're catching up with people. Solid, reliable comfort food done right, and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Charlottetown.“

“Certainly the best donair! when i entered i wasn’t sure because the menu seems to be poorly written but it was kinda funny and made me laugh so its just a quirk of this little gem of a spot. Thank you for the good service and generous amount of meat and sauce in that donair“

“Took my two kids here last Saturday afternoon and we had a great time without the usual mealtime chaos. The pasta dishes came out fast, which is a lifesaver when you have hungry little ones who can't wait, and both kids cleaned their plates. Our server was genuinely warm with the kids, bringing them crayons and keeping drinks topped up without us having to ask. We'll definitely be making Boston Pizza our go-to spot for easy family lunches in Charlottetown.“

“We stopped by BOOMburger on a Sunday morning before the brunch rush and honestly the smash burger with the fried egg on top hit different at 10am. Our server was so patient walking us through the menu since half our group had never been, and she even split the fries three ways without us asking. The patio seating was already filling up but we snagged a spot in the shade and just hung out for almost two hours catching up. Easily one of the better casual spots in Charlottetown right now, we are already planning our next visit.“

“Stopped by for dinner last weekend and the general tao chicken was just as good as I remembered, nice and crispy without being drowned in sauce. The owner recognized us from previous visits and even suggested a couple extra dishes to share, which was a nice touch. Service was quick even though it was a busy Saturday evening around seven, and the dining room had a relaxed, comfortable vibe. Parking behind the building made it easy to pop in without circling downtown for a spot, and we'll definitely be back again soon.“

“The beef brisket was very good and full of flavour, and overall we enjoyed parts of our meal.

My only disappointment was seeing the mac and cheese, which was priced at over $9, being heated in a microwave before being served. At that price point, I was expecting it to be prepared fresh. It took away from the overall dining experience.

The brisket itself was definitely the highlight of the meal, but I hope this is something the restaurant considers improving in the future.“
