“We had the best Lamb Rogan Josh at Taste of India this week. I ordered it medium for extra spice and it was delicious. Lamb can be easily overcooked and this was cooked perfectly! Great portion size, would only need to split one protein with one vegetable curry for two people with naan/rice. We will be back :D“

“JENN YOU ROCK!!!!!! You made our meal so much better. We went in with a plan and she made it happen! Our party of four did a secret Santa style where we drew names and ordered for the person whose name we drew! Jenn made it even better than we planned!

“The staff went above and beyond for us - we have 4 kids, 1 being a cranky 2 year old. I think maybe the man was a manager but he came out and held our toddler while we waited for food - which they got out extra speedy so the kids wouldn’t be waiting long. They gave the kids toys and were just overall super pleasant and lovely, kind and patient. Thank you! Ps not to mention the food was wonderful.“

“We came from NS. A group of over 20 of us…we should have made a reservation but it was a very last minute decision. The entire staff accommodated us without question. Super friendly staff, quick service and awesome atmosphere. Thank you from the 15U Fury Basketball team (and their parents)!!!!🏀“

“My wife and I were visiting the island and figured we’d grab breakfast at a local dine in restaurant, and chose Receiver Coffee - The Brass Shop. SO GLAD we did! WOW wow wow wow wow! The food was DELICIOUS and the coffee was amazing. The ONLY thing that topped the food was the HIGH QUALITY service we got from the young man that served us. One of the best…ever! Seriously one of our best dining experiences. Next drop over to the Island will definitely include a stop here!“

“THE FOOD IS ALWAYS FANTASTIC !!! THE ATMOSPHERE, AND THE SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE, AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT... TODAY MY FRIEND AND I, HAD A WONDERFUL LUNCH AT THE TOP OF THE PARK, OUR FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT ON P.E.I., HANDS DOWN. THE SALAD, THE MEAL AND THE DESERTS, WERE TO DIE FOR. WE PAID OUR BILL, WENT TO THE WASHROOM, AND OUT TO THE CAR. WHEN WE REACHED THE CAR, I SAID, WHERE IS MY PURSE? BACK TO THE RESTAURANT, NOT THERE... BACK TO THE BATHROOM, NOT THERE... SEARCHED THE PARKING LOT... NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. WENT TO SECURITY, AND REPORTED SAME TO SCOTT TAYLOR. I HAD ALL MY VALUABLE CARDS, AND OVER $300.00 IN CASH, IN MY PURSE. BY THE GRACE OF GOD, THE MAINTENANCE MAN FOUND IT IN THE PARKING LOT. THE STRAP HAD BROKEN OFF, AND IT FELL. I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE... “Smitty’s – a solid go-to spot for family brunch 👌
Had a really nice breakfast/brunch at Smitty’s and honestly, it’s a great all-around choice. The menu is very diverse – omelettes, bacon, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, eggs benedict… perfect when everyone wants something different.
The food is tasty, simple, and satisfying. Portions are generous, and the classic breakfast items are done really well – fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs.
Big plus: very reasonable prices for the portion and quality 👍
Also worth mentioning: they have a kids menu with great value, usually including milk or juice and even ice cream, which is a big win for families 👏
The space is spacious and comfortable, great for sitting down with a coffee and chatting for a while.
Parking is easy and convenient, which is a huge bonus.
Staff are friendly and efficient.

“I came here as my friend had recommended it to me. The donair was amazing!!! The meat was super tender the sause was delicious! They also really know how to load the donair as it had tons of meat inside. I highly recommend this place as your go to place for donair“

“Took my two kids here last Saturday afternoon and we had a great time without the usual mealtime chaos. The pasta dishes came out fast, which is a lifesaver when you have hungry little ones who can't wait, and both kids cleaned their plates. Our server was genuinely warm with the kids, bringing them crayons and keeping drinks topped up without us having to ask. We'll definitely be making Boston Pizza our go-to spot for easy family lunches in Charlottetown.“

“I've been coming to BOOMburger for years and it never gets old, especially on a quiet Tuesday night when you can actually snag a seat without waiting. The truffle fries are genuinely addictive and I always end up ordering a second basket even when I swear I won't. The staff remembered my usual order after only a couple of visits, which is the kind of small-town touch that keeps me coming back. If you haven't tried this place yet you're really missing out on one of the best burgers in the city.“

“The beef brisket was very good and full of flavour, and overall we enjoyed parts of our meal.
My only disappointment was seeing the mac and cheese, which was priced at over $9, being heated in a microwave before being served. At that price point, I was expecting it to be prepared fresh. It took away from the overall dining experience.
The brisket itself was definitely the highlight of the meal, but I hope this is something the restaurant considers improving in the future.“

“Always great food here. Whether dining in or taking out. Love the egg rolls! I was a bit disappointed this time when I was told I couldn’t substitute Chicken Chow Mein for the Beef & Broccoli in the Combination C plate, since that’s something we’ve been able to do before. That said, still great as always.“

“Papa Joe’s Christmas dinner to-go was fantastic! Everything was cooked perfectly, the reheat was easy, and everything turned out wonderfully. Very generous portions, too. It made the holiday great, especially being able to spend time together instead of cooking. I hope they do it again next year!“
