Stopped by for a late breakfast and the dim sum spread on a quiet Sunday morning was way better than expected for how empty the place was. I ended up photographing the sesame balls for way too long because the light coming through the front windows was so good. The server who kept refilling our tea never once made us feel rushed even though we camped out at the table for almost two hours. Stopped by for a late lunch a couple weeks ago and ended up staying way longer than planned just chatting with the owner, who was genuinely warm and remembered my order from a previous visit. The General Tso chicken had this perfect crisp to it, not greasy at all, and the portion was huge for the price. Standard Canadian Chinese food restaurant, just like those I went to as a kid 45 years ago. Standard menu and quality. No issues. The taste of nostalga. They should update their menu to say which options, if any, are gluten free.
