OK, I am not a committed vegetarian; far from it. But after eating at Splendid Essence I could see taking steps towards a more plant-based diet. My daughter picked out the dishes and brought them over. The server was incredibly accommodating to my mother asking the chef if it contained black pepper which she is allergic to. It's great to experience Chinese food at a vegetarian/vegan restaurant which I haven't been able to try in my hometown. It was very yummy! I definitely recommend it. All dishes are clearly marked that are Vegan.

Dined here today for the first time & ordered the curried rice, udon noodles with mixed veggies and the brown sauce soy nuggets. All the food tasted amazing!!! Nice cozy atmosphere and friendly service. We will definitely be back for more!!! Five star rating from us!!!
