Good food at good prices.
We stopped at Smitty's last Saturday afternoon while out sightseeing around Charlottetown and were pleasantly surprised by how good the breakfast skillet was even though it was well past noon. The waitress was friendly and kept our coffee topped up without us even asking, which we really appreciated after a long morning of walking. Stopped in Charlottetown on a trip from Ontario last Friday evening and ended up at Smitty's for dinner, no regrets at all. The lobster roll was packed with meat and not drowning in mayo, exactly what I was hoping for on the island. Our server kept checking in without hovering and even recommended a local beer to go with it. Place had a relaxed, friendly vibe that made it easy to linger over dessert instead of rushing off.

Smitty's Family Restaurant offers great food, strong coffee, and good service. They serve a variety of dishes, including the Breakfast Special #1 and Eggs Benedict, as well as amazing pancakes and bacon. Prices are reasonable, and the restaurant has wheelchair accessibility as it is on one level with direct entrance from the sidewalk. The service is fantastic, caring, and attentive, with friendly waiters and waitresses. Breakfast is available at any time of the day.
