“Papa Joe’s Christmas dinner to-go was fantastic! Everything was cooked perfectly, the reheat was easy, and everything turned out wonderfully. Very generous portions, too. It made the holiday great, especially being able to spend time together instead of cooking. I hope they do it again next year!“

I think maybe the man was a manager but he came out and held our toddler while we waited for food - which they got out extra speedy so the kids wouldn’t be waiting long. “I worked with Ryan to schedule a corporate team dinner here for a large group of about 50 people. From our first interaction, Ryan was incredibly helpful and even guided us on restaurant recommendations for other parts of our trip even though they were not part of his restaurant group. He was very organized and we felt confident and well taken care of heading into our trip.

When we arrived, everything was set up perfectly. Ryan was there to make sure everything went according to plan, and our servers, Shelley and Tasia, were TOP NOTCH. Everyone in our group commented on how awesome they were. It can be tough to serve such a large group efficiently, but I was always being offered a drink or asked if I needed anything before I thought to ask myself.

Great folks, great food, great all around experience. I know all of us will return the next time we're back in Charlottetown!“

Had a really nice breakfast/brunch at Smitty’s and honestly, it’s a great all-around choice. The menu is very diverse – omelettes, bacon, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, eggs benedict… perfect when everyone wants something different.
The food is tasty, simple, and satisfying. Portions are generous, and the classic breakfast items are done really well – fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs.
Big plus: very reasonable prices for the portion and quality 👍
Also worth mentioning: they have a kids menu with great value, usually including milk or juice and even ice cream, which is a big win for families 👏
The space is spacious and comfortable, great for sitting down with a coffee and chatting for a while.
Parking is easy and convenient, which is a huge bonus.
Staff are friendly and efficient.

“Avid blackjack players, we played four evenings enjoying all aspects. The premises had just been refurbished and, indeed, they were bright, clean, very well maintained. There was mainly only one blackjack table, $10 to $500. All staff were excellent, very patient and accommodating especially towards newer players. There is no surrender but they do accept doubling for less.

Q We also ate at the main restaurant. Food and service were excellent, fairly priced and earning our repeat business.

Although a small casino, this is one of the best we have experienced for having an enjoyable time.“

“Dropped in while touring Charlettown – we got right in and sat at the perfect table, it was inside but with the windows/doors open, it felt like you were outside but temp was it was much cooler. Service was quite spotty – it took a long time to get water and drink orders but eventually someone showed up. It didn’t even seem that busy, there were plenty of staff hovering around the back bar. I ordered the BBQ Burger with a Caesar salad– wife ordered the salmon and easy kid order a cheese burger with fries and difficult kid order the nachos. BBQ Burger was delicious, and the cesar salad was exceptionally delicious, I wasn’t expecting that different taste, next time I would order the big salad as a meal. BBQ Burger, no complaints, it was tasty – easy kid gave the burger a 9.7 and picky kid gave the nachos a 6.7 because there wasn’t enough cheese, yet she did eat the whole plate. Wife said the salmon was cooked to perfection but there were no herbs – there didn’t seem to be a lot of vegetables. There was rhubarb as a vegetable along with small chunks of carrot. The rice was crunchy but it was good. Seems like a great spot – according to other reviews, might have been an off day with service but it does seem to happen randomly.“
