“I’ve been to this place a few times and with the exception of the service the first time, they have otherwise been very friendly to us, the atmosphere is very homey and welcoming and the food and drinks are exquisite! “Took my golden retriever for a walk Sunday morning and ended up stopping in at China Star on a whim, and I'm so glad we did. The staff were genuinely welcoming and even came out to say hi to my dog while I waited for my order. I got the beef and broccoli and it was honestly some of the best I've had in Summerside - the sauce had this perfect balance that didn't feel heavy at all. Definitely coming back next weekend and hoping to grab a table near the window again since the morning light in there was really nice.“

“Brothers 2 in Summerside did not disappoint this past Thursday evening. (Forgot to take pics). I had the spicy chicken burger, my husband and one of our friends had the salmon and another the chicken quesadilla. The portions including sides were plenty. Our server Sarah was so friendly and made the night complete. We hadn't been there in about 3 years but will be back. Thank you Sarah for the exceptional service.“

“So my only complaint is that if I'm buying garlic fingers, why do I also have to buy something to dip them in. This is like selling me a pizza and charging me for sauce like it's a topping. Just incorporate one sauce into the price and tell me it's free or something.
Please let's be serious, as I review food and eat at a lot of pizza places. In fact I have over 900 saved in North America alone.
On to the food itself, these are by far the best garlic fingers on the island hands down and that's just for the quantity and quality of these cheese. My only advice would be to use a little more garlic and or garlic butter as the garlic kick was slightly lacking, but overall they were fantastic! Crispy and the bottom and nice and chewy on top. Not dry at all like other places I've tried down east.
I was going to try the pizza but we were in a hurry to get to the beach, so maybe next time. Some recent reviews don't put their pizza in a good light so I challenge those ordering to post some pictures so others can see what makes this place great! The slices looked good, so I doubt there is a problem with the pizza.
