“This place is a MUST if you are visiting Charlottetown. The food is fresh and local. I had the smoked salmon board. Beer was amazing and the bartender made me a surprise drink that tasted amazing (The Three Mile). It's a cocktail from the prohibition era.“
“Outstanding from start to finish. Was there for a birthday and the food and service was 5 star!!! The oysters Rockefeller were the best I've had and the seafood pasta was delicious!! Service was attentive as we never waited for a thing. Our favorite restaurant in Charlottetown!“
“Christine and Tyler catered my wedding and I would 100% recommend them to anyone. Everything they made was amazing! They had tons of great ideas for the menu as well as the presentation of the food. If you want to have the best food you've ever had at a wedding ask them to cater.“
“We had Shaddy’s cater our wedding of 80 people, and they did an excellent job. Joseph was very professional, and the food was very tasty and well presented. All good was delivered on time and warm. He had warmers available to rent as well, to ensure food remains hot. All of our guests loved it, with many saying it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. The cost was reasonable, much less than a full sit down meal with other island caterers. I didn’t feel that there was a “wedding tax” that I experienced from other caterers. I would strongly recommend Shaddy’s for your wedding or other large event!“
“Such a gem to have the Culinary Institute in town! You cannot find this type of menu anywhere else, especially one that rotates through the year! It’s always lovely to meet the students in training and be absolutely delighted by the wonderful menus they are preparing. Delightfully pleasant service, fantastic food (everything from the bread to the dessert!) and overall lovely atmosphere!Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegetarian items on the menu, not sure about vegan thoughParking: Easy parking right out front“
“The Olde Dublin Pub is a classic! It's a beautiful bar with a great pub atmosphere. They stay very true to their Irish roots in their food and drink offerings. It's the best spot that you can spend a St. Pattys Day weekend. Always a positive experience with excellent food service. Highly recommended spot!“
“OMG, our service was amazing the food was fantastic and would come back every visit to try something new every time ?Parking: It’s paid parking only in CAD only, but you can find alternative parking for free around the area and walk to the location. It is beautiful downtown and worth it.“
“Always a favourite of mine when I'm in Charlottetown. For some reason, even though the place was 80%+ empty (mid-afternoon, weekday), service was extremely slow. Not characteristic, and fortunately, we weren't under any deadlines, but slow lethargic service is never a good thing for the long-term viability of any restaurant or pub.“
“I always thought pilot house was a fancier restaurant and it is but the prices are just as good as anywhere else. Why would I go somewhere else and pay the same price for worse service and worse food. I started comparing prices mid meal and was honestly pretty shocked.I'll definitely be coming here more often“
“The seafood chowder at this place is unparalleled – a rich medley of fresh, perfectly cooked seafood in a creamy, flavorful broth. Each spoonful is a delight. On the other hand, the chicken burger with sweet potato fries held its own with a well-seasoned patty and a balance of textures. The sweet potato fries, crispy on the outside and tender inside, added a delightful touch. A dining experience that successfully combines the best of land and sea flavors.“
“Dinos ROCKS!!! My Favorite Nachos of all, and when it comes to their Menu, They are as good as it comes in their category and ARE WAY WAY AHEAD in things Like Donair Egg rolls, Donairs & Burgers!!! Just great All around and we Are frequent customers.. Once or twice a week, minimum..❤️❤️❤️DINOs.. Keep Up The Great Work Fellas?Parking: Lots of Free Parking and easy entrance & exit from Building as well as nearby streets.“
“We stopped here because of the gluten free options as my sister has Celiacs disease. The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good, not amazing but your typical pub fare.Ambiance was fun, people were enjoying themselves.“
“Great selection of beers Generous portions, none of us finished our food but not for lack of trying. Incredible service. seriously, the staff were so great, attendant, and friendly. They were knowledgable about the beers and the ones they didn't know about (I don't blame them with so many) they got back to me on. They have a little games area that kept the kiddos busy while I listened to the live band. The nachos were delicious except for the mayo on them which was weird but that's on me for not asking to skip it. Poutine was perfectly cooked and so delicious. The weird bowl my wife got was also pretty good“
“We went there last night for my birthday and rarely have I been so completely satisfied by a dining experience. Absolutely incredible, warm, engaging service complete with perfect suggestions that were right up our alley, a stunning cocktail program (my favorite was the Secret Garden, pictured below) and food that was truely delightful. We had the mushroom toast to start which was stunning and may have convinced me that I actually DO like mushrooms. My husband had the ribs which he said were perfectly done, not hiding behind the sauce but rather very nicely complimented by it, and I had the linguine, which was just so delicious, rich and flavourful but not overdone. We shared the cake that had chocolate mousse and espresso, a perfect cap to the meal. Everything was beautifully complimented by the exquisite décor and happy atmosphere. Thank you so much for such a lovely experience and putting so much effort into the little details, it made my birthday incredibly special!“
