“Ein echter Geheimtipp! Wir waren bei A la Bilal und hatten einen unglaublich leckeren Falafel-Wrap und cremigen Hummus (vegan) – beides war absolut köstlich und frisch zubereitet. Die Atmosphäre war super entspannt, mit einem richtig angenehmen Vibe, sodass wir direkt am nächsten Tag nochmal hingegangen sind. “We have been to this bar before having visited this area in Portugal for many years, and this time it was a very different experience. We tried the tapas small plates. The food was amazing, the delicacy of the flavours was superb & the homemade bread was truly delightful, so fresh. When you add all the small dishes together it is not a cheap meal but you don’t need a vast amount of food as the intensity of the flavours satisfy. The staff were helpful, informative & very efficient. And of course complements to the chef. We hope to return when we next visit the area.“

After a year we were here again and were again very excited that we came two days in a row. ? ✨️

?The dishes arrived after an amazing 10-15 minutes and tasted very good. ? I personally really liked the burger with tomato mozzarella ("Milano") as it has a tasty patty and is served with just one slice of bread instead of two standard burger buns. "Sweet Carrapateira" is also recommended and "Classic Large Burger" was also good. You can't say anything about the large sangria? with fruit for €5♡!
With two burgers, a Fanta, a sangria, two pieces of cake and a tip, we came to €40, which is worth mentioning!

? The service was attentive and friendly. Since the restaurant is on a street, parking spaces are limited, but you can always find something nearby. Otherwise you can sit both outside and inside, barrier-free. Seating is limited, but there is still the option to wait on the walls or benches with service.

“This restaurant is run by a known chef in Portugal and only offers menus with either 4 or 7 dishes that you can accompany with a. very good selection different wines (optional). The dishes served were exceptionally prepared and served at a right pace. I went for the 4 dishes menu, which was enough for my hunger. The menu changes from time to time, so I can witness what was served on 31.07.24. My highlight of the menu were the raviolis and the shrimp in nectarines with corn foam was simply excellent. It worths definitely a visit, you spend an amazing dinner with a nice view to Odeceixe. This is a Michelin Guide restaurant.“

“Randomly discovered this place when driving by and stopping to discover some ‘local restaurant’ and happy that we did! We took the grilled fish of the day which came with a lot of sides. There’s a little terrass in the back/the side. Prices were normal although that we expected it to be a bit cheaper given the location. Service was okay.“

“Filets de pescada was great!! We were on the way from Monchique to Arrifana. We actually just wanted to have a quick drink, then we saw several people eating something and thought, let's try something too. We were then very positively surprised.“

“Monday night, relax and cozy place to eat authentic portugese food. We had the choco frito (fresh,fried calamari)and loved it! Tuna steak was super fresh, delicious garnish and well seasoned.
