Naperon Reviews
This restaurant is run by a known chef in Portugal and only offers menus with either 4 or 7 dishes that you can accompany with a. very good selection different wines (optional). The dishes served were exceptionally prepared and served at a right pace. I went for the 4 dishes menu, which was enough for my hunger. The menu changes from time to time, so I can witness what was served on 31.07.24. My highlight of the menu were the raviolis and the shrimp in nectarines with corn foam...read full review
My husband and I dined at Naperon this week during a weeks holiday in Odeceixe. We were recommended the restaurant by Catarina, the owner of Monte Coast West and it met and surpassed every single expectation. Naperon is a cozy and modern restaurant known for its excellent food and friendly service. The view of the windmill enhances the beautiful ambiance, creating a magical location that feels hidden from the road. The restaurant features a small number of tables overlooking the hotel’s pool and the hillside, adding to its charm. The attention to detail and explanations of the food make the dining experience feel special. Chef Hugo and the staff work hard to provide a memorable experience, offering either a 4 or 7-course menu that changes from time to time.
The dishes are exceptionally prepared and served at the right pace, showcasing traditional Portuguese food in an innovative way. Guests have enjoyed highlights such as the raviolis and shrimp in nectarines with corn foam, which are simply excellent. The wine pairing is optional, featuring a well-balanced selection of Portuguese wines. The couvert, delivered by Chef Hugo himself, includes magical morsels like an incredible watermelon gazpacho. Dining at Naperon truly feels like being invited into a friend's home for dinner, making it an ideal way to end a coastal tour. The restaurant has also been recognized in the Michelin Guide, making it worth a visit for anyone who loves great food.
