Traditional portuguese restaurant where locals go. The staff is very welcoming and helped us understand the menu in Spanish. Amazing tuna dish!!! Great overall!

There were four of us, that went to Nora's last week. Do not let the scruffy car park put you of. Inside the place is clean and bright, there are also places outside. The staff are friendly and attentive. They have meals of the day but also a small choice of meals. The food is typical Portuguese, do not expect pizza and burgers. The food is amazing, we ordered two T bones, one Pork grill and the fourth was mussels. All cooked to perfection, the steaks were enormous. Or bill for the four was 57€ including beer and wine. The only slight criticism is the lack of vegetables, but this seems to be the norm in Portugal. Great place to go................Enjoy

Welcomed like family, it was a delight to come back here for our family lunch. We had booked a table, which was a good plan, as it quickly got very busy. The service was lovely, and we all enjoyed our food. A truly authentic Portuguese restaurant, frequented by locals and by tourists who know where it is. Thanks for a delightful dining experience xx

We are pensioners staying in the area for a month. We have had excellent experiences at many local Portuguese restaurants in our 5 years of staying on the Algarve. Today we decided to try a new restaurant based on reading positive reviews. We were scammed. At no time were we told that the Prato de dia was available only to "workers" (at 76 and nearly 70 it's pretty obvious that our working days are long behind us!!). When choosing our meal we constantly referred to the "menu of the day" being inclusive of bread, olives etc. We both chose pork grills which came with fries and salad. The bread and olives were good, as were the fries and salad. The pork was tough and chewy, but we felt acceptable as part of a reasonably priced menu of the day. Desserts were ok as was the coffee. However, when we requested the bill, which we expected to be €18 ( based on the €9pp pork choice) we were astounded to be presented with a bill for €35.10. On top of the menu choice we were charged for every extra item, bread, butter, pate, olives, wine and 2 desserts. On questioning this we were told that the menu de dia was only for workers. What a total rip off and shame on the restaurant owners and staff for such blatant disrespectful treatment of elderly visitors. To be fair, we have had excellent treatment at many other local restaurants. Sadly A NORA will not be getting a return visit from us!!!

Parking: Rough ground, not clearly marked.
