Fabulous position right on the beach. Great food at reasonable prices. Brilliant service from Marco and the team. Booking essential as it's so populsr and at busy times you may have to wait awhile as everything is cooked to order. However any wait is a small price to pay for such amazing food.

We walked past this restaurant many times during our one-week stay in Alvor and it was always full of diners, so we booked for a Thursday evening - the restaurant did not disappoint. Tables are positioned close together to make most of the space, our table for two was adjacent to another table of two - we were so close to them that it was almost like we were a table for four. Food was outstanding, the best we’d eaten in Alvor and great value. We had starters (melon and ham / ceviche) and mains (stroganoff / bbq fish platter) plus a bottle of wine which came to €68. Would 100% recommend.

We found this restaurant looking for somewhere before we visited a local escape room on a rainy day during our holiday. We were lucky to get a table as looking at the reviews it’s usually fully booked. We ordered the sea bass starter, clams and grouper steak. The food and service was amazing! The view is f the beach is breathtaking and was particularly so with the wind making huge crashing waves! Worth the prices as a treat!

We have been coming to Atlantida for a number of years, but were disappointed with our last trip there this year. We booked a specific table for a celebration but when we arrived we found another couple at the table. Initially we were told that we hadn’t booked that table, then the story changed and we were told that the people at the table were very special people who come every day for 2 weeks a year. We were then put on a table for 6 people. We didn't let it spoil our evening but we were disappointed with the way Marco handled the situation. As a result it’s unlikely we’ll return as our celebration was dampened by disappointment. Not a good ending.

Restaurante Atlantida! For the last 7 times we've been to Portimao/Alvor, every time we go to eat here is a pleasure. Pleasant staff. Food always so fresh, tasty and plentiful. Fantastic! Sometimes it's better to reserve a table.

Been coming here for 20 years. Consistently good. Great setting and need to book. We like the staff and food always excellent. Fish esp. good. Couvert great inc. cheese. Ok it is pricey, but you get what you pay for here.

We just loved this restaurant. We ate dinner here four nights during our 11 night stay in Alvor. Each night we had a different variety of fish. The staff were well presented and you could see worked as a team. Beautiful outlook straight on to the beach. Make sure you book before you go.
