Amazing food and staff thanks for looking after us in our holiday. You will Have to visit if you are in alvor
Avoid! Expensive cold food! Hubby and I were looking for a nice restaurant within easy walking distance to taxi rank. This looked perfect and always seems to have people outside enjoying drinks. We both ordered our meals. Burger and chips, nothing fancy. Chips were cold, burger was tasty but certainly not hot. We both ordered a sauce: 1 peppercorn, 1 garlic mayo. Both sauces came in an egg-cup sized pot. Pepper sauce was like water and garlic mayo was out of a squirty bottle!! We were charged €8 for both! Eye watering given the quality! 2 burgers and chips, 1 red wine, 1 beer, 2 sauces = €56!! Absolute rip-off. It’s odd as you have to pay at the bar. We were given the wrong bill initially but eventually after explaining our order, we were given the correct one. There are so many restaurants and cafes in Alvor, it amazes me why people would eat here! Okay for drinks outside but we would highly recommend you find another place to eat. A very disappointing experience that cost us far too much!
Vodka coke and glass of rose 12 euros and 80 cents feels like I’ve been robbed twice as much as anywhere else in alvor

Been here many times before. New owners but still great service and food. Have tried many dishes and nothing ever disappointed me. Our last stop most nights before a taxi back to the hotel. Love the Irish Coffee, perfect way to end the night.
We had a great night, the food was amazing, the wine recommended to us was lovely, and the service was 5 stars, Tiago served us throughout the night, all the staff were very attentive to details. The Chef came to greet us and left us amazed with her smile, we drank a delicious port wine that was served to us to finish. Well done to all the staff, we had what was probably the best dinner since we arrived, too bad it was our last day, will definitely be back next year.
It's a pity that 0 * is an option. So last year, we had been here, food was cold, chips not cooked, they are white, onion rings not cooked etc sent back the chips & asked if they could be cooked. She looked at me as if I had 10 heads. Anyway we ended up leaving as the food was bad & they insisted I paid for food that I sent back which I didn't.This year, not many places open for lunch so I said surely they can do a toasties & pancakes well yes they can do pancakes but they couldn't even do a toastie. The toastie came out soggy on the outside, I opened the bread & the tomatoe, onion, cheese was more a less put on it from the fridge. With the soggy toast it was disgusting & I think we waited about 35mins for it even though there was only 1 small order b4 ours. When I had seen all the food going back on plates from customers sitting outside, I really should have woke up & said no we should actually leave as the food is all still going back. People sending back chips too & they are still white. When I got to the till, she said I have taken off the toasties, I said well obviously I wasn't paying for it anyway.Drinks are fine out the front as they have all the benches but for one of the drinks i noticed it was over €1.50 dearer than another bar up the road. So it's quiet expensive.Music inside I felt like I was going into depression, absolutely dreadfulWe gave it another try & 100% we will never return because its disgusting
Pancakes where nice but they took ages to come out, I had a tosty and the bread was cooked but soggy and inside of the tosty wasn't cooked at, it seemed like it was all just throw onto the tosty from the fridge.I sent the tosty back to the kitchen and they didn't charge for it. When I was there, there was loads of food being brought back. Music felt like I was going to fall asleep, over all very expensive

Lovely place for breakfast and watch Alvor go about its business.
Location good.. food good, beverages good..all round a nice place, location does help it alot..
I ordered a full English breakfast, which came with tea/coffee and orange juice. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, service was great! My partner ordered Eggs Benedict which were equally as delicious! Would definitely recommend!
Food and service decent but rip off prices. Two eggs on tiny bits of toast €7.90. Small coke €2.95. It is not like they are charging extra for a view, unless you like to look at bus stops!
Felt this place looked better than it actually was… Menu was overpriced for what you got… Had a gourmet sandwich there was no spread on it and nothing like mayonnaise so it was incredibly dry… Asked for a coke got a glass full of ice and not much coke.. Not really an enjoyable experience…
