Very disappointed with a restaurant that we had fond memories of. We are suggested the map displayed on the wall. After making our choice, we were finally informed that there were very few dishes available. There are 4 of us and we order 3 half chickens. They bring us a sort of pile of chicken pieces (which, given the size, must rather be chicks…). A little fries, but not enough. We tell ourselves that this is the dose for 3 and therefore normal. When paying, we were charged 4/2 chickens even though we had expressly ordered 3/2 chickens, all in Portuguese which my wife, who is Portuguese, has mastered to perfection. The waitress told us no. Anyway. The impression of having been robbed both in terms of the order and the quantity. We will not go back there again. Too bad.

This place is underrated. The quality of the food, along with the price-to-service ratio, is excellent! It’s busy, the food is fresh, and the cooks know what they’re doing.
Be sure to put your name down since they don’t accept reservations; it’s worth the wait. It’s a low-key spot with great food. The chicken and sea bass were particularly delicious, and you can taste the difference from cooking on charcoal.
I always check Google reviews before visiting a place. I saw some concerning comments about a red-haired lady, but after observing her while waiting for our table, I felt compelled to share my experience. This place is very busy, and she works hard to serve customers. She might not be the friendliest, but she’s not rude. In fact, she’s quite sweet if you show respect for her efforts. Thank you for the service and the delicious food. We will definitely be back!

tasty food, good grilled fish and roast chicken. Better to get there early to wait in line. On very hot days, if they had a fan with water vapor near the tables it would be excellent, there is no great convenience, the staff works well, public parking and in high season it is difficult.

Not worth it. They didn't have their famous sardines or mackerel so we opted for meat and it was a disappointment. If at least it were super cheap I could understand such poor quality, but that hasn't been the case. There is a rule, when they give you frozen fries and the cheap ones they already tell you what quality of food the place has, and in this case it was fulfilled.

Long delay to enter, I arrived at 8:30 p.m. and entered at 9:45 p.m. The dish I ordered was a mix of meats, since the pork was so thin it was dry and hard, the rest was fine (pork breast and barbecue sausage). I asked for a brand of beer and they brought another, I didn't say anything, but I didn't like the taste. It also took them almost another hour to bring the order. Not even a bun or olives to wait for the food, as attention. Matching prices.
